« We had a wonderful week exploring the area with family. Lakes, ponds, and waterfalls galore. Great food (try Tallow in Millerton, The Black Rabbit in Lakeville, and The White Heart Inn in Salisbury). A perfect home base, cozy with all the amenities, and thank goodness for AC as the beginning of the week was unreasonably warm. Everything was wonderfully, just as described. Thank you! »

« Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats....
