The Space:
Dom's Beach Retreat is one of our best walk to beach two bedroom condos!
Our favorite things:
*Less than 5 minute walk to public beach access and on the east side of the busy main drag so less worry with your kids
*Tons of sleeping space with all the beds - the pull out couch you will find makes it almost like a 3 bedroom. Most 2 bedroom condos don't have so much bedding
*While the HOA doesn't allow BBQ by the pool in the back, and despite the fact you may go to the beach all day - your kids can enjoy & you get some early night peace & quiet while they splash at sunset. If they are old enough, there is actually a small patio off the bedroom you can watch from.
*The all tile floors mean very clean situation, especially if you have allergies
*Every bedroom + living room has a Smart TV - again if you have kids it's very convenient at night to settle everyone in (if you can't tell I have little boys :)
*High speed wifi/internet though the Island does have less than perfect up time every now and then (welcome to Island life!)
While we have the best available Internet/wifi from spectrum they are the only provider on the island and up time and coverage can be spotty at times we want you to be aware of that
If you can't find the network name SouthPadreTrips it's usually means we had a power outage and when the power comes back on It typically defaults the router to the factory network name and password, which is located on a sticker on top of the router.
Generally, if you reboot the router by unplugging it for a few minutes and plugging it back in it will pop up
*The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, full size stove & fridge so you can save money with easy breakfast tacos, pizzas, fajitas, at home. Plus avoid long restaurant waits & the overall hassle after a long day in the sun
*Off street free parking for 2 vehicles - though it is not allowed to park extras along the street. Remember this is a four plex, you are renting one of the 4 condos here. The 2nd floor is up 1 flight of stairs and we think superior to ground floor as less noise from above for better sleep!
You will discover the 2 full bathrooms & stackable washer & dryer all come in very handy as well!
We provide basic starter pack of toiletries, trash bags, soaps etc though not unlimited nor replenished. Fresh towels & linens are provided with your stay. Provided you stay 3 nights or more, you an exchange at no charge towels and linens at our office South Padre Trips, 2600 Padre Blvd locally managed

Please take note we do require an E sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID after booking is made, We require to maintain our City of South Padre Island Rental License a signed rental agreement you may esign by docusign prior to arrival to be checked in with door code therefore you must provide your email address. You must attach a pic of your photo ID OR upload to Airbnb messaging to age verify as 25 years of age or older. If you are not 25, we do NOT allow you to book unless you contact us first :) though it may be possible with additional requirements

Guest Access:
Guests have full and private access to the entire second floor condo which includes two spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom features an en suite bathroom and its own private balcony perfect for relaxing. The unit includes a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and refrigerator for your convenience along with a comfortable living area that includes a pull out sofa. You will also have access to the on site swimming pool shared with the other condos in the complex. Free off street parking for two vehicles is provided on the premises for your exclusive use. A stackable washer and dryer are located inside the unit for your laundry needs.
The Neighborhood:
Our condo is perfectly situated for a true island getaway. You will be less than a five minute walk from the pristine public beach access, allowing you to spend your days soaking up the sun with ease. Being located on the east side of the main road means you can enjoy a quieter environment, making it safer and more convenient for families with children. Beyond the sand and surf, you are within easy walking distance of dozens of local bars and restaurants, ensuring that dining and nightlife options are always right at your fingertips. Whether you are looking for a quick bite or a relaxing evening out, everything you need for a memorable vacation is just steps away.
Getting Around:
Getting around South Padre Island is a breeze from our location. We provide free off street parking for two vehicles directly on the premises for your convenience. Please note that parking extra vehicles on the street is not permitted, though additional free parking can be found at the local intermodal bus station or the post office. If you are arriving by air, the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport is the most common gateway to the island and is approximately a forty minute drive away. Once on the island, the area is very walkable, allowing you to reach numerous restaurants and bars on foot.
Other Things to Note:
To ensure a smooth stay, please note that check-in begins at 3 pm and check-out is at 11 am. The primary tenant must be at least 25 years old and present at check-in. Upon booking, you are required to sign a rental agreement and provide a photo ID to verify age, which is necessary for our city rental license. We provide a starter pack of toiletries and paper products, though these are not replenished during your stay. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10 pm to 9 am. No parties, smoking, or pets are permitted. Parking is limited to two vehicles, and unauthorized street parking is not allowed. Please leave the unit tidy, with dishes in the dishwasher and the thermostat set to 78 degrees upon departure.
Interaction with Guests:
We want your stay to be as comfortable and worry free as possible. Our team at South Padre Trips is locally managed and available to assist you throughout your stay. Our office is conveniently located at 2600 Padre Boulevard and is open seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm should you need any assistance. For your convenience, we primarily communicate through the booking platform messaging system. Door codes for your arrival will be sent via text message to the phone number you provide on the day of your check in, typically by 3 pm. If you have any questions before or during your visit, please reach out through the platform and we will respond as quickly as possible during business hours.
