Fantastic stay!
Another great stay at this little jewel of a cottage. Location can't be beat. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the firepit, the WIFI and appreciated the new expanded bathroom. Lovely! Thanks Tim for being so responsive to our questions! We hope to return!

Wish we could have stayed longer
This place was exactly as I imagined. It took me back to the summers of my childhood when my grandma would rent us a cottage. It had everything we needed inside and out. I loved being so close to the water, the yard was great, I loved the hammock! We had a fire both nights. It was close enough to the beach and the main attractions but far enough away that it was still quiet at night time. We will definitely make this a yearly place to visit but next time we are definitely staying an extra day or two!

A Perfect End to Summer Vacation
Cabin is close to the main strip (3-5 min walk) yet tucked quietly away from the street. A shared residence path to the beach was a nice feature. You can't ask for a better location! The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 3 plus our cat and medium-sized dog. A cozy, clean, and bright space with modern amenities (like the washroom and A/C). Plenty of yard space for our pets to explore and we enjoyed the backyard fire pit in the evening. Tim, our host, was accommodating, checking in occasionally to ensure we were okay but giving us plenty of space and privacy. We highly recommend booking with Tim. We look forward to returning, thanks again!

Great Beachside Cottage
Quirky little beachside cottage with everything we needed to make our stay perfectly. It's the little things like beach chairs, towels and even an umbrella. Cottage was spotlessly clean, comfy bed and air con kept us cool despite 30 degrees plus whist we were there

Cedar cove cabin was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. It has everything you could want from a cottage stay and very close to downtown and beach. The owner and family are very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here.

A lovely cottage as advertised
My young family enjoyed every minute of our getaway at this lovely cottage. It was well equipped and comfortable. The cottage is steps away from the beach, as advertised. We had little to no issues, other than a few flies. Tim was great with his communication with us throughout our stay. Our kids had a great time. We hope to return to this cottage as soon as we can! Thank you for a great Thanksgiving weekend!

Really beautiful spot! No regrets!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Close proximity to the fabulous, clean beach and Main Street action but very quiet nights. Perfect! I recommend the fire and dough pizza place 👍🏻 The cottage is well stocked. I appreciated the water cooler, my daughter and her friend (13) appreciated the Netflix and my husband appreciated the wifi😁 The back area with the fire pit is awesome and and there is also a very handy outdoor shower! You won’t regret booking here. We hope to return next summer! *FYI nothing to do with the host or property, but there are no dogs allowed on the beach.

Great location!
We had a great time at Cedar Cove Cabin. The location was excellent - very close to the beach and the main downtown area. The grocery store was close as well. We never were able to count if it was actually 51 steps to the beach as advertised - there were too many things to enjoy on the short walk, both to and from the beach. Waking up to the sound of the waves was lovely. The surrounding cedars afforded privacy for the front and back yards. Although it was mid-October, my youngest still went swimming, we still walked in the water and played on the beach. I appreciated the clothes line out back for drying wet swim suits and towels. The well-appointed step-saving kitchen meant everything was in reach while cooking and the kids loved the breakfast bar, the WIFI and the Smart TV. I really liked the natural gas stove for those chilly, stormy evenings! The property owner was responsive and great to deal with. Sign in was non-contact and easy. The owner went to the trouble of putting together a binder on the cottage and the area which was a helpful resource during our stay. Thanks!

We did an off-season trip to Sauble and stayed at the cedar cove cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for. As the ad says, the indoor space is cosy (ie not lots of it!) but we were not there to spend time indoors! Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, which was great because most restaurants are closed in the off-season! Very short walk to the beach and to the main strip, and a short drive to various hiking trails.

Great, cute, little rustic cottage so close to the beach! Sauble has suffered over the years due to high water, hardly any beach left! But that is not the property owners issue lol! This place is cute and we watched Netflix and relaxed!

The cottage was cute and very close to downtown and beach. The only issues that made our stay disappointing was cleanliness and interior size. There was only surface cleaning done before we arrived; cobwebs, dirty walls and floor. The eating/living is all one space and extremely tight if you have to eat inside due to poor weather

Thanks for your review Laura. As you know I had the cleaners go back and service your concerns when I checked in on you. That said we have since changed the cleaning service we use, as we take these things very seriously. As far as the Cabin's size; yes it is listed that it is approx 450 SQ FT, its laid out for space efficiency, cute and cozy. It is very suitable for couples and small families. And in the nice weather; well I hope you're all out enjoying the beach! Thanks again, Tim

Great family vacation very close to the beach!
We enjoyed our week stay at the cabin. It was cozy and just right for our family which included our dog! The owner was very nice and gave us a tour of the other accommodations on the property and they are also very nice. There was tons of space in the front yard and backyard to enjoy as a family and of course the beach is very close by. We did however have problems with the wifi signal but that was getting upgraded on the day we left. It's not terrible to disconnect for awhile though! We would recommend this cabin :).

The property and location was awesome. It was super private and great for a young family. Short walk to the beach and downtown made everything really convenient. The cottage itself was pretty rustic but it had everything we needed and we were barely inside anyways.

Great little cottage for our family of four. Super close to the beautiful beach and the main strip. The yard was very spacious and private. We had a fabulous week. Check in was super easy. A very pleasant stay
The cabin was very small and rustic but had everything I needed for my stay (and no bugs!). The cabin will comfortably fit two friends or a couple (with very small children). It's a place for sleeping only, not for lounging or working. Meals can be eaten on the front picnic table or back table. We loved the front bc it was sunny. The golden, sandy clearwater beach is a 2-minute walk away, which is very convenient if you forget something or carry your board. The backyard is great for entertaining as there is a fire pit and lots of seating, plus a swing. Tim was a very kind, gracious host, who went out of his way to make sure my stay was great. All in all, a very restful getaway, I would definitely go back to Sauble Beach.

We enjoyed most of the time the small cabin. We were 4 people. The washroom was a bit small but the shower was enough for us. I think people too tall and robust could find a bit tight the cabin. The water's quality can improve with a good filtre system. It is not drinkable.

That said; Your thoughts on the water are being addressed for next season with a water treatment system that will eliminate smell and discolours.
