Amazing room with wonderful hosts
Spend three days at Villa Carolina and had a great time with some lovely hosts who could not do enough. The property is set on the hill above sorrento and there is a free courtesy bus. But if you don’t use the bus you need to enjoy lots of steps which is often the case in sorrento anyway. Would recommend

I had such an amazing time at Villa Carolina! Emanuela and Carlo truly went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. First they upgraded me because we're worried that the room I chose might be too cold (in March). Emanuela made sure to check in on me throughout the day because she knew I was traveling alone. They picked me up and dropped me off to places whenever I didn't feel like making the pleasant walk up and down the hill into town. The property itself is simply breathtaking! I haven't felt this relaxed in the longest time. I can't wait to come back and I'm recommending this place to all of my family and friends.

Charming and beautiful hotel in a scenic location. The logistic challenges of getting into Sorrento are addressed well by the hotel owner who went out of her way to ensure accessible transportation. This was a peaceful place to stay outside of the tourist zone of Sorrento and gave us a taste of rural life in Italy.

Beautiful stay
Fantastic place to stay. Great service, atmosphere and food. Only one criticism - we booked 2 bedrooms and while there were enough beds it was not 2 bedrooms. It was more like a studio (bed in the living area) with a back hallway with twin beds end to end. No doors or privacy. OK for a family but not suited to 4 adults travelling together. But the friendly owner and staff, the beautiful setting made up for the somewhat awkward living conditions. I would stay there again without any hesitation.

Emanuela and Carlo were the perfect hosts. Anything to please. Breakfasts were excellent. Too good...had to hold my appetite in check. The room was clean and very comfortable. Outstanding views from the property. Amazing sunsets. If you are able, take the walk down the mountain to Sorrento and behold beautiful views. Wear comfortable footwear and socks. Make sure to enjoy a dinner prepared by Emanuela. Fantastic! Highly recommend this location for a romantic stay.

Amazing
Manuela and her property were simply amazing. She went out of her way to make us feel like family and not just visitors. From homemade breakfasts to the ability to cook us a late last minute meal (that was amazing) to the tranquility to the views... this place can’t be beat. We are so thankful we stayed here and would stay here again in an instant. I’d highly recommend downloading WhatsApp as she communicates easily on there.

An example of perfection, in every shape and form
Everything from the instant we arrived was perfect. Manuela was incredibly helpful, put on a service that is one from which any other hosts could learn and made our stay something remarkable. The place is beautiful, tranquil setting, spectacular views, great sized rooms with all imaginable amenities. The jacuzzi and the lemon garden in particular are something to make the most of. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer

Our favorite place we stayed
This is by far the best place we stayed while touring Europe. We just felt a sense of peace and comfort here. Emanuela and Carlo could not have been better hosts. They took care of everything and made us feel so welcomed, like we were old friends. We received courtesy transportation from the Train station as well as to the ferry port without charge. They will also pick you up from Sorrento town or reimburse you for your bus tickets. We loved the grounds and the view! We were treated to omelets and cappuccino in the morning all with an ocean view. Although we did not partake, dinner and drinks are available on site. For those traveling with children, our suite #5 had a king bed, two additional twin beds in a separate area and kitchen and dining table. It was perfect for us and we can not wait to come back to this beautiful B&B and to enjoy more of Sorrento.

Beautiful Villa Carolina.
An amazing hotel, beautiful setting on hill above Sorrento. Hosts Emanuela and Carlo could not be more welcoming. Fantastic, spacious rooms, well appointed, beautifully furnished. Breakfast array with huge choice of cereals, fruits, breads, Ema's fresh baked savouries and cakes. True Italian welcome in the most beautiful place. Views above Sorrento and Bay of Naples are spectacular. Beautiful terraces and gardens to enjoy views and a drink. Nothing too much trouble. Emanuela cooks evening meals on request with produce from the organic garden and best local ingredients. A relaxing , beautiful place in which to relax or visit all the local attractions, Ema and Carlo give vast local knowledge and advice to help you make the best of the Sorrento area. Cannot rate Villa Carolina highly enough. "Come as strangers, leave as friends" We will be back, soon.

The rooms were clean and spacious. We were on the top floor of the house and were treated with a beautiful patio and view to match. The hosts were very helpful and would provide us with a ride into Sorrento or nearby restaurants if needed.

Outstanding Service
We felt welcomed and at home from the moment Emanuela greeted us in the driveway. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the view was outstanding. We had a nice dinner on site one evening and Emanuela spoke fluently in English and in French with the guests. This was our favorite lodging during our 18 days in Italy.

Best B & B Ever!
This is one of those little Gems you find every now and again. You can only really understand what all the reviews are about by going and experiencing Emanuela and Carlo's hospitality and friendship for yourself. It really is second to non. The Country House is truly wonderful our room was delightful and in my opinion is situated in the perfect location. The breakfast pastries are to die for and the evening meals outstanding, in fact far better than the more expensive restaurants we ate in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Carolina with Emanuela and Carlo. Nothing was too much trouble from the moment we arrived. Situated on the side of the mountain we enjoyed beautifully fresh breakfast and dinner on the terrace while taking in fantastic views over the bay. Emanuela, Carlo and their team worked extremely hard to make our stay perfect. The hotel was very clean and well maintained and the staff very friendly and attentive. Emanuela goes out of her way to make guests feel really welcome; advising on excursions and offering great tips on what to see and when. A sign hangs in reception which reads, "You arrive as guests but leave as friends" and this is clearly the goal of the small team at Villa Carolina. If you are looking for an idyllic, charming, peaceful retreat among lemon and olive groves with simple fresh Italian cuisine, Villa Carolina ticks all the boxes. Rustic B&B overlooking Sorrento
A charming rustic 'farmhouse style' B&B set up in the hills in Praora overlooking Sorrento. Wonderful views with friendly welcoming staff with high levels of customer service. A great place to stay either for a break or stopover

Excellent place to stay, all staff very friendly and efficient, food excellent, owners Emanuela and Carlo strive to make your holiday as perfect as possible, always at hand to offer help and guidance nothing is too much trouble. Lovely place; lovely people; lovely location. Full of character; great for walkers (there's a lovely country path into town) and great for sitters (there's a regular local bus service into town and the Villa runs its own free shuttle too). Breakfasts are delicious and so too are the evening meals (bookable on the morning). We loved it.

The perfect country house in Sorrento
Are no words to describe our stay in this new villa - Carolina Country House Emanuela made our stay for 4 days to be like in heaven ! We could ask for no more perfect host. Emanuela and Carlo were fantastic ! The home made breakfast was delicious and so goood ! You also can order an italian dinner. We chosen the fish dinner and it was yummy. Carlo did a great job in the kitchen Family, own also an Italian restaurant right on the marina where you can get any meal you like. The rooms are spotless and the garden is like heaven. Flowers everywhere, olive, lemon and orange trees. You can use the pool but who had time for a pool when you have to visit so many beautiful places around ? Amalfi coast, Capri Island , Pompei , Vesuvius mountain. Emanuela was giving us the best advices on all our trips around Sorrento and we choose ( we been 5 friends ) to have a driver to drive us around to amalfi coast to enjoy the trip without worring about parking or anything. One of the best trips ever made in Italy. We will come back for sure in Sorrento and we have only one choice - Villa Carolina ! Thank you so much Emanuela our best days in Italy !

Fantastic place, amazing people.
Emanuela, Carlo and Giuseppe are fantastic people who really want to make your experience the best possible. They are incredibly service oriented and the Villa is perfect for visiting many places on the Amalfi Coast. We stayed here for 4 nights, we love the location of the Villa in the hills. So peaceful. It is possible to take a walk down to Sorrento, but home is a bit tougher, we had a car but Emanuela and Giuseppe offered to pick us up and also drive us down to Sorrento If we wanted. We really had a fantastic stay and we will for sure stay longer next time.

Accueil magnifique, nous avons mangé sur place le premier soir et c'était un régal. Le gîte offre un service de navette.... Seul bémol, mais il vaut mieux en rire est l'étroitesse de la route finale....

Kesäkuun viileys myös välillä sisätiloissa eli pitkähihaista mukaan. Keittö olu toumiva ja valmiina oli maitoa, kahvia, teetä, suolaa, pastaa jne. Ruokatarpeita ostettavissa Emanuelalta tai keskustasta. Kaunis näköalareitti 20 min alas cityyn hotelli Hiltonin juurelle. Ei kävelyesteellisille. Emanueöalta saa hyviä vinkkejä kaikkeen. Kannattaa kysyä. Palvelee mielellään. Jos hakee viiden tägden palvelya, täältä sitä saa. Ei haittaa äänieristyspuutteet tai pihan irtokoira (rauhallinen, huh), kun voi kokea harvinaisen välittämusen.

Excelente trato de los dueños!!! Tienen un servicio de traslado al centro de Sorrento que es muy comodo y util dada la zona de dificil acceso donde se encuentra el hotel. Muy recomendable!!

We just stayed one night so not much to inform. However, the location was far aways from the Sorrento city and hard to get public transportation. And the room was not enough clean and the water pressure was low. Nevertheless, Staff was very very nice.

Prachtige locatie met uitzicht op Vesuvius en golf van Napels.gratis shuttle naar Sorrento. Goed ontbijt en op vraag heerlijk diner. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst met prosecco en persoonlijke service!

Traumhafte Villa in den Bergen von Priora
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa Carolina in Sorrento (Priora). Das Hotel mit nur 6 Zimmern hat einen fantastischen Ausblick aufs Meer und liegt etwas erhöht in den Bergen. Villa Carolina wurde erst vor ca. 3 Monaten eröffnet. Alles wurde mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet und entsprechend freundlich wurden wir auch begrüßt. Während unseres Urlaubs haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten gute (kostenlose) Möglichkeiten in die Stadt Sorrento (ca.5 km entfernt) zu gelangen. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen sehr frisch und liebevoll hergerichtet und man hatte eine große Auswahl. Das Gemüse und Obst wurde aus dem eigenen Garten für Frühstück und Abendessen (mit Aufschlag möglich) verwendet. Wir möchten uns auf diesem Wege nochmal bei den Besitzern Emanuela und Carlo für diesen traumhaften Urlaub bedanken. Villa Carolina war das, wonach wir lange gesucht hatten :)
