We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Continental. The rooms were beautiful and we had a nice sea view. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, and they even repaired the handle on my suitcase for me! What a relief! The breakfast was phenomenal, and the service was outstanding. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for a week in May . The staff were very nice . Breakfast buffet was great. Had dinner one night in the rooftop restaurant, it was fantastic . Our dessert was served in a wooden musical box ! Location is perfect for everything.

The Hotel Continental is now the only place we will stay when visiting Sorrento. The hotel is excellent in all respects. The only thing that rivals the facility, is the unbelievably wonderful front desk, staff and support personnel. When you visit, please find Veronica. She made our stay and experience priceless.

The hotel is in a convenient location overlooking the water. Only downside was our view was of the older buildings and no water. Staff was great.

We loved our 4 nights at the Continental. It was exactly what we wanted. Great ocean views, rooftop lounge, close to wonderful restaurants and amazing breakfast we didn’t even know was included.

Nice hotel that is easily within walking distance to the center of town. Lots of shopping. The breakfast is good. I would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel was so much more than I expected. It has beautiful old world charm and the staff are just wonderful. The breakfast ambiance blew my mind! The only downside was the bed comfort which is why I took away one star. I would stay again regardless.

This is a great hotel in an excellent location. The staff and breakfast were amazing, as were the views. It's in a fabulous location right next to Sorrento's highlights. We would highly recommended The Continental. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Lovely breakfast, but noisy
Nice hotel. Breakfast and staff service in top notch. Breakfast really good. However, if you want want to sleep, you need ear plugs. Very noisy. We had to be moved because of a party upstair. We could have joined it, and should have, it sounded like a blast but unfortunately we and a few other guests couldn’t sleep. In general hard fault but because it’s old, it’s noisy.

We were very pleased with the convenience to multiple excursions on our " to do" list. Staff was very accommodating and helpful with all our needs. The rooftop bar was lots of fun and met several other guests during our stay. Great space!!!

Beautiful hotel and superb staff. Service was top notch from the moment we arrived. All areas were clean and the rooms well stocked and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, bars and restaurants good. I would stay here again.

Above and beyond service
World class hotel, as evidenced by the amount of service the front desk/concierge staff doles out to first-timers…..likely all. They even arranged a dinner for 10 when the bride decided at 7:15 that she was uncomfortable with her 7:30 dinner arrangements. Went above and beyond to find not only and opening but one that could accommodate the many, many food preferences and allergies. Thank you Luca in that one and everyone else on other requests. Will stay again when in Sorrento.

We had a great stay at Hotel Continental. The property is well kept and staff always at the ready to ensure our stay was comfortable. Crisp bedding, fresh towels at all times, excellent maid service with chocolates in the evening. Awesome breakfast buffet with live music, savory and sweet offerings with champagne and outstanding service I’ve come to expect from this hotel. Don’t miss breakfast and come on the earlier side as some offerings will run out. Great location tucked in a square by the water, excellent views great walkable access to shopping, restaurants, and ferries.

This was our first time in Sorrento and we are so glad we started our stay at the Continental! The staff were very welcoming and spoke english. We loved the bar on the roof. Giovanni was amazing and introduced us to the Sorrento Spritz instead of the Aperol. You have to try it! We only stayed for a few days and wished we stayed at the hotel longer. Next time! We stayed around Sorrento and stopped by the night before we left to see our friends at Terazza Vittoria. Our room was also very nice and we would start our evenings with a drink on the balcony looking at Mt Vesuvios. Highly recommend this hotel!!

The rooms do not have great views. There are no water views. The reception concierge staff was courteous but ineffective in making restaurant and transportation reservations.

Great Hotel , Very good pool. Food was very good. Spend the extra money and get the Vesuvio Suite over the water. Only thing I didn't like is they don't give you anything for free. You want a bottle of water you have to pay , at breakfast if you want different eggs that are on the buffet you can have but at an additional charge.

Everything was great but the bar/restaurant was significantly more expensive then others in the area and the AC didn’t work well. The pool was amazing and the location is perfect
