Welcome to Serenity in the Pines, our beautiful Twain Harte cabin located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Enjoy a peaceful vacation in our cozy mountain home, conveniently located near the Dodge Ridge Skiing (20 miles) and Yosemite National Park (59 miles). Relax and unwind in the rustic mountain cabin, with its charming wood burning stove, homey pine ceilings, and beautiful views of the pines, sunsets and peak-a-boo views of Twain Harte Lake! This is a pet-friendly cabin, so your four-legged friends can come along and enjoy the mountains with you. So come relax, recharge, and make lasting memories in this peaceful mountain retreat!

Fun for the whole family! So many fun outdoor activities near by including lakes, hiking, fishing, ski resorts and more! AND when you’re home you’ll never be bored! With an Infinity Game Table, Atari, All-in-one fooseball/air hockey/ping pong table, corn hole, board games, puzzles and more, your family will be entertained for days!

Family Friendly - We have a pack and play, stroller, baby gates and high chair available for use at the cabin. Children’s toys and books are also provided for your little ones to enjoy while at the cabin.

Pet Friendly - We allow 2 dogs with a small pet fee of $50 per dog. You will find dog bowls for your pups in the kitchen as well as a dog bed. We ask dogs not be left unattended in the cabin or in the deck at any time unless crated. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside (no pee pads please) and please clean up after them. Please know the property is not fenced. We welcome your pups, but please keep them on a leash outside. The pet fee for the first dog is included in your rate when you add pets on the reservation page. If you are brining a 2nd dog, an additional $50 pet fee will be charged once reservation is finalized.

Access - STAIRS ARE REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE HOME
The entry level features a spacious kitchen, dining area, great room, and master suite. Downstairs two bedrooms with a second bath.

Self Check In - Your door code will be sent the day of check in.

Twain Harte Lake - Enjoy a walk around Twain Harte Lake on the service road just behind the house. Twain Harte Lake is a private lake. You can hike around the lake, however we DO NOT HAVE A TWAIN HARTE LAKE MEMBERSHIP for guests. If you would like to partake in lake activities, we recommend Pinecrest lake. We also have a partner cabin with Twain Harte Lake Access is you would like to check it out, send us a message.

Twain Harte Community Pool, Twain Harte Community Tennis Courts (FREE), Twain Harte Mini Golf and Twain Harte Golf Course are all less than a mile away.

You are in nature! This is bear country, please throw away trash in bins and do not keep food outside. Though we don't see many bears, they do come to town occasionally. You may also see various insects and other wildlife around the property. Occasionally nature can find its way inside.

No smoking, vaping, or candles allows on the property inside AND outside. Due to high fire hazard in our area, this includes on the decks and driveway. Any sign of smoking anywhere on the property will be charged $500.

Due to the high cost of electricity, please notify us if you plan to charge your electric vehicle on the property. Charging electric cars will be an additional $50 per charge.

We are at a high altitude and may get snow in the winter. The road to this home is plowed in the winter though we recommend all guests carry chains. Please note that snow is not removed from the property by the hosts. Shovels and salt are provided for guests.

Please note that a signed renter agreement is required upon booking confirmation.

Trip Insurance - Due to the remote location and variable weather in Twain Harte, we recommend trip insurance. We are at a high altitude and may snow in the winter. There are situation where guests are snowed in/out or experience loss of power, road closure, or other issues out of our control. We do not accept liability for these situations, or any other situations that are outside of our control, and are unable to provide a refunds.

There are Ring security cameras outside the property. These are for the safety and security of ours guests as well as the property owner. Please note, these cameras do not monitor inside the home, only the exterior. (Front door, side door and garage door)
