We booked a quiet room, and were given a corner room overlooking the square. This was fine during the day, but come evening time when all of the local youth congregated there, it was very unpleasant. I do not expect to pay these prices and have to use ear plugs to get off to sleep. We had the table d’hote meal in the evening, which was average. It may be that there was a large function being catered for at the same time, but nothing offered was appetising, or tasted any good. First thing in the morning the cold tap dispensed brown water! No bath robes. On checking out, when the noise from the square was mentioned, the receptionist did say “Oh, yes, you did book a quiet room. Sorry”.
Will not be returning – hotel too big for the staff to manage properly.
