Oslo City Centre6 nights5.0 star property9.6/10 - Exceptional (99 reviews)"Hotel still having "teething" problems as only recently reopened. However, the hotel was nearly perfect in that most of the important points were extremely well organised - staff, restaurant, clean room. The only one let down was that the water in the bathroom was luke warm and far from being hot enough to shower. The staff didn't know how to deal with this attempting to say it was the norm - very disappointed and shall stay in my memory whenever I think about this particular hotel."Reviewed November 3, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YTO) - Oslo (OSL)YYZ - OSL • 1 stop OSL - YYZ • 1 stopCA $2,194CA $1,892found 1 day agoper traveller - Home Hotel Gabelshus

"The staffs are so polite and accomodating. The breakfast is very good. Bed is comfortable but the room is really hot even with a fan!"
"We had planned to stay at this hotel after driving for 7 hours, but unfortunately our reservation was cancelled just 4 hours before check-in. A staff member kindly called us and did their best to find an alternative hotel, which we truly appreciated. We were also advised to email regarding possible compensation for a future stay. However, we have not received any response. This was very disappointing, as we had been looking forward to our visit. While we understand that unexpected situations...
"It’s great! However, you have to remember many rules while there. I noticed a little double standard when it comes to phone usage. We spent a full week at the property and we felt policed about phone usage 24/7, when to use the swimsuit, when not to use the swimsuit, when to use the towel, when not to use the towels, which stairs I am allowed to use and which I am not allowed to use. The spa police will get into the steam room and sauna and make you get naked if you are wearing the swimsuit. The...
