"Was a little suprise that it was a hotel chain (Staybridge Suites) when we first arrived. I possibly missed it somewhere in the description? But it was a very nice one. Either new or recently updated. Rooms where very clean and comfortable. Would have booked through the hotel and received my points if I'd have known it was a Staybridge though. Overall, good experience."

This was a beautiful old home and I’m sure that once the spring yard work gets started the grounds will be lovely as well. At this point it seems a bit unkempt but the inside is beautiful.

The Dixie Motel is a beautiful place to stay. The owners are so cool and kind. The room was spotless, great water pressure and the best coffee set up I have had traveling. So much heart here! Stay! You won’t regret it!

Staff are extremely friendly. Rooms are nice, although a microwave would be helpful. Pool is nice. Gym is very well equipped. Would love to have seen a hot tub or sauna. Having an included hot breakfast would be a great addition. And just an FYI, a train will pass by multiple times a day and even through the night, including the whistle! The hotel is great with noise cancelling items available on request.
