The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We initially planned to eat our evening meal on the first night of our 3 night stay. However the food was excellent and so we eat here every night. Whilst there was not a full English breakfast, the continental breakfast was great to set us up for the day, with ham, smoked cheese, fruit, cereal and juices.toast and croissants. We had Room 6 - exceptionally comfortable bed, lovely room, really appreciated the hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water. Quiet other than the door banging (needed a sock wedged inbetween door and frame!). Booked 6.30pm table and had a most beautifully presented and delicious meal. One vegetarian - only thought was there were only two vegetarian options, mushrooms with orzo (delicious) or jack fruit burger.
