There was a small BBQ on the deck with utensils and it was very clean as well. We loved the deck, it was right on the ocean and we could hear the waves come underneath the deck at high tide. The view was spectacular!!! We would definitely recommend staying here, and when back to Sointula this will be where we stay. The quirky boat house is a welcoming spot right on the water. It feels like a much-loved family cottage. We were traveling with children and they loved the ladder and loft. When the tide is in, the ocean is literally right under the deck. It's compact but has all the amenities. It's a short walk into town.
