Gorgeous 5 bedroom lakefront home with huge yard and 300ft of beachfront

  • This is a very private home on beautiful 5 acre plot right on Lake Ontario. Included are comfortable accommodations for 12 people and fully equipped kitchen and two and half baths. Huge yard with deck, picnic tables and grill. Beach accessible from back yard for swimming, walks, kayaking and hunting for sea glass and rocks. Walking distance to Sodus Point public beach, historic light house and parks. Restaurants and bars are a short walk away and safe walk home. Rental comes with use of three kayaks with paddles and life jackets. Washer/Dryer, gas fireplace, linens and bath towels included. On rainy days, there is a television in the living room equipped with fire stick, DVD player and WiFi; or just unplug with board games or cards. There is also a ping pong table downstairs! Plenty of parking for friends and guests. Sorry, no pets. 7 day minimum stay in July and Aug. Wed to Wed

What a beautiful piece of property. The house was so nice. I always look at the living rooms to make sure the can accommodate the amount of people they say can stay. This did! The views were amazing.

This home was lovely and worked great for our needs. We had four small families staying together, with four kids aged 3-13. There was enough sleeping space for everyone, room to relax and play inside, a large kitchen, and the extra fridge and pantry was super convenient. The huge, contained yard was fantastic for kids, and access to the beach for fishing, walking, and exploring was great. I wish the guests had more flexibility in controlling the thermostat. We had an issue the first night not being able to turn on the heat, which was fixed the next morning, but then we couldn't adjust the temperature at all, so it was hard to regulate the temperature inside, especially upstairs. Overall, our stay was great and we would love to return again sometime.

We love gathering at this beautiful home and property! It is peaceful and relaxing...even when the weather is not the best. Comfortable and plenty of space for young and older. Great kitchen to cook in.

Fabulous Family Get Away

This house was perfect for our family to gather for the holiday weekend. We had fun, relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable house with everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and had an amazing view. Would love to visit again!

Weekend getaway with friends.

We had a great time despite the wind and rain the last two days of our stay. House was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for a large group. Had everything we needed. Beautiful location with complete privacy. Look forward to coming back with better weather.

This house and area were amazing. The views of the cliffs, lake and rock beach were so beautiful. The house had all the kitchen items anyone could need. There were games and activities. As a family who lives all over the country if was so nice to sit in the familyroom all together and laugh. The lical restaurants were really good. The beds were so comfortable. The house was clean and open. The photos do not do it justice. We would stay here again. Loved it.

Absolutely wonderful!

What a great house! The location is perfect and the views are spectacular. The home is beautiful, well stocked with all you need for a great vacation. We walked everywhere. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance, yet the house is totally private. One of the best we have rented!

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our relaxing stay in a very comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious home. Weather on Lake Ontario in early June can be risky, but we were blessed with beautiful weather. The large backyard provided for some great lawn games. The weather allowed for 3 days for kayaking. We also enjoyed some great wildlife during our stay. Thanks for the hospitality!

Beautiful home right on the water

This house has the most amazing view. It is waterfront with a beautiful front lawn and beach access. We really enjoyed watching the sailboats go by. We had more than enough room than we needed. The house was absolutely immaculate. The living room area is quite large and we had a really nice time gathering there.

Gorgeous property

The house was lovely, spacious, and well stocked with everything we needed. The property was beautiful- we loved walking on the beach and sitting on the patio by the water to drink our morning coffee. The kids played in the water and had a blast. The ping-pong table was a fun surprise- we had enjoyed our family tournament. We only wish we had more time to spend enjoying the house!

Family Camp was a great success!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. The house was clean, beautiful and very comfortable for 7 adults and two children. The kitchen was easy to work in and the bedrooms were very spacious. The beach was covered in walkable smooth stones and the bottom was sandy once you entered the water a few feet. We enjoyed riding waves on windy days. The large yard was used for yard games of all kinds. The adults and the kids agreed this was a wonderful place for Family Camp!

Beautiful site, amazing house!

We were a group of age 75+ who came to see the eclipse. We found a beautiful, clean, enormously well stocked home with a beautiful lake view. We felt too old and wobbly to try the staircase to the lake edge, but the patio was accessible. In a yard nearby there was a huge eagle nest, with babies, which kept us highly entertained. I have rented many homes through VRBO, but never one as comfortable, clean, inexpensive as this oner!

Perfect

The pictures really don't do this property justice. The house was fantastic and well set up for a large group of people. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. There were plenty of extra blankets, etc. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The owner communicated with us early and let us know they were available for any questions. We would absolutely stay there again should the need arise.

Girls weekend

We stayed on this property from September 12 to the 15th. The home itself was beautiful! Lots of room to roam inside and outside. We loved how it was decorated. And the weather was beautiful! The beach was so much fun by the house! Every morning we were out collecting sea glass and just enjoying the peace and quiet of the waves crashing, watching the boats go by and the sunsets were amazing! We went to Captain Jack's bar to watch the Buffalo Bills game and had such a wonderful and fun time there. The "regulars" got a kick out of us all with our crazy antics every time the Bills scored. They were also loving the fact that we were from Buffalo as well! Such a great night. Back at our rental, we grilled, sat outside at night around the fire pit, played games indoors and laughed. We created such memories here. Our hosts were very quick to respond to any of our messages. I hope that one day we decide to come back because it was so very relaxing there. We highly recommend this rental. Beautiful area to be in and quite relaxing. Thank you Karen and Kurt you were wonderful hosts!!! Francine and the gals from Lancaster class of 1979 girls weekend!

We had a terrific 4 days in Sodus Point with our whole big family, lots and lots of fun playing ball in the HUGE and FLAT yard over looking the lake…excellent rock collecting and clear fresh water- swimming was super! The house was very well equipped and handily stocked with kitchen items and paper products and endless outdoor games and toys. Walking or biking into town for ice cream, visiting the playground, or to see the light house was top notch. We will definitely be lining up another stay here soon!

This is a beautiful home on a private dead end with gorgeous views. It is well equipped for a great no fuss getaway. We have stayed there three years in a row and plan to return. The host responds quickly to communications.

AMAZING STAY

We had a great long weekend. The space was better than the pictures. Lots of room, amazingly stocked, fans galore, central air, a walk into the town/ lighthouse, huge yard and beautiful view from the overhanging deck. We do rentals regularly and this was a gem!

Bachelor Weekend

Had a wonderful weekend, the home was beautiful and the lawn was amazing. Spent the whole weekend outside playing yard games! We would definitely re book here if we are planning another trip.
