There are so many things that make this the perfect place. The house is situated perfectly on the beach, right at the dunes, so the walkway off the deck to the sand is very short, and the views from the deck are not blocked by other houses. It's a one-level house (except if you choose to use the den or gameroom), which means minimal schlepping of luggage and groceries up and down stairs. It's up high enough that the dunes don't block your views when you're inside the house (which we have found to be a common problem with other one-level houses on the island). And it's situated in an area without public beach access or any multi-unit housing, so the beach the is always unbelievably private. We also can't say enough about the owner (Diana) and house manager (Betsy). Great communication, very prompt to reply about any questions, immediately available on-site if the need arises, and they go above-and-beyond to make sure your stay is excellent. The house is always clean and well-maintained, and Diana continues to invest in the property so we always love to see what update has been done each year when we arrive. :) ##### Lianne J. We were easily able to check in and parking was ample for 4 to 5 cars. We enjoyed use of the downstairs areas (a furnished garage and a sitting room) and the upstairs locations. Our favorite part was the beach view and access. Whenever we needed something, the property manager across the street was readily available to answer questions.
