We're excited to welcome you and hope you'll enjoy the peaceful charm of the area. We've worked hard to provide an accurate description and photos to help you get a true sense of the cabin, but we'd like to mention a few things that will help you make the most of your stay. As with most properties around Center Hill Lake, there's a bit of hilliness to the landscape, which contributes to the area's natural beauty. The walk to the cabin includes about 25 steps and a somewhat steep walk down to the lake, so we do recommend that guests with mobility concerns or very young children take this into consideration when booking. Our cabin is cozy, rustic, and full of character, with some signs of its age from years of family memories and shared moments with our guests. While it's not new or fancy, we like to think of it as a comfy, well-loved space—sort of like your favorite pair of jeans. We always strive to ensure it's clean and inviting upon your arrival. Inside, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen, high-speed internet, and TVs in every room, hot tub, along with plenty of thoughtful amenities to make your stay more comfortable. If there's anything else you need or would like during your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to add anything reasonable to make your experience even better. Our kids loved the wrap around porch, basement, hot tub, and being surrounded by woods. The only down side was it was a steep walk down to the water for fishing with small kids with no grassy areas for them to play. Nestled in the trees and you can hear boats on the water below. There is a trail down to the edge but we didnt walk down. The house is older but nothing really out of sorts. Super clean! The fact the hot tub never worked properly. Maintenance was called more than once. When we left it was a hit ir miss on whether we were able to get in. Also when they came to work on it the property owners had shut water off on us due to excessive use from maintenance filling hot tub back up. Which left us unable to use bathroom or water for any reason. I felt it was not fair to us. But one major compliment goes out to your maintenance man. Awesome, very professional, friendly. Loved him. The cabin had all the amenities needed for our stay even though we didn’t spend a ton of time there. There were some ants in the kitchen, but everything was very clean outside that. The kitchen is well equipped and things were well organized. A cover for the firewood to keep it dry would be nice but not a must have. This was my second stay at the cabin and I did notice a few things in need of some repair, but the owner seems to be addressing them. The addition of the charcoal grill was nice.
