Beautifully maintained old palazzo in a good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Valletta is quite small and thus incredibly walkable. Nothing is more than a few minutes away. Would stay again. If accessibility is a concern, the Layla penthouse may not be the best choice as there are a few stairs particularly between the two terraces and down to the bathroom (which does not have a door so that may not suit everyone). It does face the street where there are bars/restaurants that stay open late with music playing etc so if you are a light sleeper, this may also not be the best room for you.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Spacious rooms & cleaned on a daily basis. Hotel offers different ranges of food & the breakfast is very good value.

The property was kept clean at all times. The entire staff were courteous and professional in their approach. As the hotel restuarant does not have a good vegetarian option, the chef kindly accomodated us by making us a very good penne arrabbiata. Would like to suggest to have more vetegetarian options for on the dinner menu. A very good stay

This place has good shopping. Walk up the hill streets, away from the harbour. There are lots of interesting and affordable stores there.
