Lakefront Log Cabin on Beautiful Kerr Lake in downtown Clarksville VA

"Property was exactly as listed. It sits on the end of a quiet street with a dog park enclosure directly across the road and a fenced in private yard for anyone with 4 legged friends. The owners have a large beautiful sitting area between the main house and the cottage that is available to use. It has comfy chairs, wind chimes, grill and bar access. It was a nice place to sit, look out over the water and just relax. The house is a short walk, bike ride or drive into town. The music from Buggs Island Brewery can be softly heard at night from the enclosed back porch on the house. If you have a boat, docking is convenient just down the hill from the main house . A little cove for swimming is available as well, though the water was about 5 feet down during our visit ,leading to more than usual visible lake debris. This is part of vacationing on Buggs Island though, the water fluctuates. I would definitely stay here again. The owners were prompt at communication, the property was clean and had everything you might need. It was a wonderful visit to Clarksville.."
Sunrise Cottage on Lake Gaston is great for families and fishermen alike!

"My family of 4, plus our dog, just had the pleasure of spending the past 3 nights at Sunrise Cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. There was homemade cinnamon rolls in the freezer with instructions on how to reheat them, which was such a thoughtful and delicious treat. We spent time on the paddle boards, kayaks and canoe and enjoyed the amazing view. Our dog even made friends with the local dogs, who are very sweet, once they get their barks out lol. We would absolutely love to return sometime."

"Older building but check-in was super easy. Didn't need a deposit. Room was clean and had all the amenities. Easily accessible and there were only a handful of other visitors. Perfect for a single traveling musician needing somewhere to sleep and shower after a gig, and not driving late at night."

"We had the most wonderful time!! The home and view of the lake was wonderful. Our grandchildren really enjoyed fishing and playing in the lake. We took our pontoon boat and used it for tubing and exploring other areas on the lake. A boat ramp was directly across from the house and easy to use. We highly recommend staying there. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We will definitely consider using it again!!!"
