The picture on the website is for an old hotel and restaurant - the reality is a very poor extension outside, no staff on site, no restaurant. The advertising is totally false.

Oplevelsestur
Weekend tur med oplevelser i det sønderjyske. Opholdet var typiskt kro ophold. Pænt spartansk værelse, super rent og dejligt opvarmet, trods efterårsstormen udenfor. Udflugt til vadehavet, vadehavscentret og Rømø. Sort sol og masser af gæs. Spiste til aften første aften - stort menukort, traditionelt dansk kromad. Vi fik en god Wienerschnitzel med tilbehør.

Blev vækket om natten og beskyldt for svindel
Vi havde fået besked om værelse og kode til dette pr. mail, hvorfor vi benyttede værelset. Værten sagde, der var tale om "en standardbesked", hvorfor vi ifølge værten havde tiltaget os et forkert værelse. Det viste sig, værten havde vidst dette fra kl. 18, hvor de "rigtige" gæster, som skulle have værelset, var ankommet. Trods dette vælger værten først at give os besked omkring kl. 22, hvor vi sov. Vi får ved nattevækningen ikke forklaring om værtens fejl eller en undskyldning, men bliver i stedet mødt med anklager om forsøg på svindel. Nattevækningen bliver i øvrigt fulgt op med SMS uden afsender indeholdende prints fra Hotels.com som synes sammenklippet til lejligheden. Værelset var ikke rengjort, hvilket værten anerkendte. Her sagde værten, han havde en forventning om, gæsterne reagerede, hvis et værelse ikke var rengjort. Vi havde faktisk forsøgt at reagere på den manglende rengøring samt hjælpe de gæster, der også havde fået værelset. Men heller ikke informationerne om åbningstider i værtens såkaldte "standardbesked" var korrekte - stedet var ubemandet. Vi havde betalt forud for værelset, og havde på ingen måde oplevelse af at have fået mere, end vi havde betalt for. Bl.a. er der kun adgang til værelset via en stejl metaltrappe med smalle trin, inventaret er slidt, og bruseren fungerer med en slange og regulering af vand fra håndvasken på den anden side af væggen. Udeomgivelserne fremstår også manglende vedligeholdt.
