Apartment B255 at The Hills Residence, Simpson Bay

B255 is a 55 m² one-bedroom apartment on the fifth floor of Building 2 at The Hills Residence, a residence in Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten. It sleeps up to three guests and looks out over Simpson Bay lagoon.

Furnished and fully equipped, it works as well for a long weekend as for a stay of several weeks. The idea is simple: arrive, unpack, and enjoy the island without having to think about practical details.

Layout and bedrooms

The bedroom, set apart from the living room, is furnished with a king-size bed, a closet with hangers and curtains to darken the room.

The living area combines a lounge corner with a sofa and flat-screen TV, and a dining table for meals. The sofa opens into a bed, which allows one more guest to sleep in the living room. The apartment has one bathroom with a shower, plus a separate toilet.

Light and view

There is no balcony; the living room windows bring in natural light and look towards the lagoon.

Kitchen and equipment

The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob and extractor hood, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. For breakfast there is an espresso machine, a kettle and a toaster, and a blender for fresh juices. Crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, wine glasses and champagne glasses are provided.

For everyday comfort there is air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washer-dryer, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Bed linen, bath towels, beach towels and bathroom essentials are supplied.

Families can ask for a baby cot and a high chair. The apartment door has an electronic lock, and the apartment is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The Hills Residence

On the roof of the residence, a swimming pool looks out over the lagoon and the hills. The residence has elevators, private parking and outdoor surveillance cameras. The pool is open every day from 8 am to 8 pm, with sun loungers around it.

Location in Simpson Bay

From the residence you reach the restaurants, shops and marinas of Simpson Bay in a few minutes by car. Simpson Bay beach, Maho beach and Princess Juliana International Airport are also very close.

Because the residence sits on a hillside, a car is recommended to get around. It also lets you discover the rest of the island, such as Philipsburg, Marigot and the beaches of the French side.

Practical information

Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is until 11 am. B255 is well suited to couples, friends or a small family, with a maximum of three guests. The team of The Hills Residence is available on site if you need anything during your stay.

An intermediate housekeeping service and extra towels can be booked during your stay. Combined with the full kitchen and the washer-dryer, this makes the apartment practical for long stays as well as short breaks.
