It was just a overnight place for catching a plane from Leon the next morning so did not take advantage of the town or immediate area. Sadly our hotel was well into an industrial area so could not walk outside property to look around.
Silao is a small, farming type community between Guanajuato City or Urapuato (depending on where you are coming from) and Leon, all in Guanajuato State. BJX airport is located across the highway from this hotel in Silao.
The only reason we stayed here was that we had a very early flight out, and we did not want to travel in the middle of the night.
Only stayed on our way elsewhere so don’t have much to say about Silao. Liked the hotel was by the airport. Staff was very friendly
