"The home was very clean, nice amenities, comfortable beds, nice towels. The weather was hot, low 90’s, the air conditioning did not keep the cottage even close to cool. We would have opened the windows but most windows did not have screens so we couldn’t open them without a lot of insects coming in. The sliding glass door to the screened porch is hard to open/close. The steps into both the front and back doors are very narrow. The fenced backyard is okay except both dogs stepped on cholla requiring tweezers to remove the spines. Pet owners should be encouraged to bring booties to protect the dogs paws. "

"We felt the warmth and welcoming intentions of this stay as soon as we got out of our car. Lovely desert art inside and outside. The thoughtful snacks and cold water waiting for us really hit the spot after our drive to Tucson. We appreciated the beautiful landscaping of the property. Every corner offers a place for peace and reflection as well as fun and connection. It was the desert experience we desired. "

"What a wonderful stay. Jo and Paul have built up a wonderful life story documented throughout their home, and a property to match! The central area's plants are lovely, and the house designed excellently to get cooled. Loved the landscape, listened to the coyotes sing at night, enjoyed the bunnies and lizards and birds. Chiminea was very nice one night, and we had a good time taking some pictures of the stars afterwards. You can see them all :)"

"Hosts Lou and Ozzie are wonderful, the setting is quiet and perfectly situated for hiking in Saguaro National Park, and the Bunkhouse is cozy. Highly recommended!"

"The house was in great condition and very clean! Quiet neighborhood in walking distance to shops or food. No back yard neighbors either. The host was very responsive when the AC went out and had someone there that day to fix it for us! We did a lot of cooking in so having a full kitchen of utensils, pans, etc was nice! Beautiful pool and grill area!"

"We enjoyed our stay in the unique artsy round house, with many comforts and amenities thoughtfully provided by our host, Diane. Loved the big shower and the deep tub to soak in after a long hike. Diane responded quickly to any questions and set out books and puzzles for down time. Even brought us some fresh chicken eggs from her neighbor!"

"This home and property, and host, is a 10 star! The kind host, was so easy to work with, and provided more amenities than any property we have ever rented. The property is filled with healing, quiet, spaces inside and out. We identified 16 varieties of birds, more than we found at the proclaimed world-class birding destination of Madera Canyon. The beauty and quietude was just what we needed. We were thrilled to be so close to the National park, yet not too far from the city. It is definitely a sanctuary. I left there better than I arrived. I carried the peace, that this home and property exudes. We cannot wait to find a time to return again and again. I'm forever grateful for this experience. You won't be disappointed. "

"We had a lovely Tucson stay. The beds were comfortable, the town was safe, and close to local restaurants, the airport, Costco, and Walmart. The home was clean, cozy, and spacious. This house is fully stocked, and we LOVED that ! We liked that basic toiletries were provided and the snacks/waters/wine/K cups were a very nice gesture. They had fans which were great for our white noise sleeping family. Our whole family loved the pool and our son enjoyed the Xbox !!! They had many rooms to gather in, with comfortable seating. Communication from the host was prompt, the home was easy to find, and entry to the home was seamless with the code/keypad. We would absolutely return again. Great hosts! "
