We had a wonderful stay here. The room was beautiful. You will enjoy your stay if you are into medieval style of living, i.e., creaking wood floors, antique furniture, arched beams. The room we stayed in was very spacious. They allowed us to park in their private driveway. Breakfast was also delicious showcasing traditional Romanian dishes and cooked breakfast. Firstly, if you are driving make sure you know exactly where you are going, and that they can provide parking - there is only room for 2 cars in the tunnel to their courtyard. To get to the hotel you have to drive INTO the Citadel. Do not rely on a Sat Nav or you will end up on a narrow cobbled lane below the walls. Not recommended. It is a very old building. You will hear everything going on around you. It echos loudly. Laundry facilities are listed in the details, it is not facilities it is a service. They are reasonably quick and reasonably priced, but you need to hand your laundry in early Breakfast very good, staff friendly. Lovely stay could not recommend more. This is such a lovely place to stay. Really lovely HUGE room - pretty and super comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and a good range of different options. A local, home-made specialty was served for breakfast on Sunday, my room was very spacious with a view on the clock tower.
