Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel itself is wonderful and the Onsen is one of the best I have ever used. It’s in a bit of a strange location, sort of industrial near a Canal (not really the bay). It’s really close to Shiomi station so it’s easy to get to Tokyo proper, just be aware that it is a bit remote "
"This is an excellent location in Asakusa, there is a Uniqlo and restaurants locayed on floors 1-4, and the hotel lobby on floor 5, there is a Donki next door, and and so much other shopping all within a short walk from the hotel, there were street performers on the weekend and the streets were alive with activity, but nothing crazy all very family friendly. Also very close to the subway line, we will stay here again when we come back. I will say the rooms are small, but I understand most hotels are like this, I will say the hotel is clean with a buffet breakfast which includes American and Japanese breakfast staples, buffet is available for a fee, it was good and convenient. "The front desk and luggage services were so friendly and nice. We got there early and as expected wasn’t able to check in until after 3pm, but the front desk had already taken all our information and so when our room was ready at 3pm they had already assigned us a room and taken our suitcases (that we left at bell services upstairs! It was the smoothest check in we’ve had this entire trip. My kids loved the hotel so much that they didn’t want to go. I really liked the free Disneyland shuttle they had and the frequency of the shuttle pickups. Although the night time pick up around 9:00 pm seemed really delayed this past Thursday. Dad

Low by Tokyo’s vertigo-inducing standards, this observation tower lets you see the city’s waterways and skyscrapers at the midlevel of nearby high-rises.
