Dog friendly holiday home with superb garden and rural location - Ridge Barn

Ridge Barn is a beautifully styled holiday home near Shipston-on-Stour which sleeps eight guests, in four stylish bedrooms, with three contemporary bathrooms. This stunning property can be booked alongside its neighbouring holiday home, Furrow Barn, providing accommodation for up to 12 guests. Ridge Barn is a pet friendly, single storey home away from home which sits within the grounds of a former working farm and features a spacious open plan living area, with pocket doors for separation if desired, a cosy wood burner and underfloor heating throughout. There is a peaceful garden at the front of the property which enjoys spectacular rural views, is hot tub compatible and has a small fire pit, perfect for those chillier evenings.

Accommodation
This four bedroom holiday home on the outskirts of Honington, near Shipston-on-Stour, is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the North Cotswolds and beyond. This single storey accommodation is laid out as follows:

The maximum occupancy for this property is 8 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

We had a fantastic stay. It's a great rural location. Everything worked as it should, lovely underfloor heating, great showers etc (water pressure is good). We had lots of space for visitors too, over the Christmas period.

Weekend away with friends.

Love love loved this barn from the moment we let ourselves in the front door. Large open space which was wonderful for our group of 8. Beds all comfortably and great to have 2 en-suites, the family bathroom had the best shower. Spotless room and beds. I would recommend this barn and we hope to go back.

An amazing cottage

An amazing cottage with everything you could need. We also had friends staying in the Furrow Barn which is also a lovely cottage. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, with deer roaming in the fields and a fabulous sunset. Perfect for families and friends.

Happy to return for the Second time

Ridge Barn is a lovely place to stay. This was our second time staying there for a family long weekend away. It is very spacious and has everything in the Barn to make it a very comfortable stay. John, the Host is very helpful. Also a great place to stay to explore the beautiful countryside/area around.

The perfect getaway with friends

Ridge barn is an incredible place. We had the best weekend away. The interior is gorgeous and is set up to maximise social time with the open plan design. Comfy beds, lovely bathrooms and set up with everything you could need. We ran out of bin bags and the host was round quickly with some more. Great location for nice day trips and some lovely countryside walks. 10/10 would recommend.

Lovely well appointed and spacious cottage in a quiet rural location good for exploring nearby Stratford upon Avon, Warwick castle etc. Hosts were very responsive, lots of nice local pubs, would recommend.

A fantastic barn in the Cotswolds

We stayed at Ridge Barn for a wedding weekend as a group of 8 adults and 1 toddler. The barn was perfect for the group as had plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were all very well proportioned and were bigger than the photos show. The kitchen was well equipped and the barn was very clean.

Great for a family meet up

Ridge barn is spacious & easily accommodates a bigger group of people . Location is fairly rural with nearest town maybe 4/5 miles away. Barn is well equipped for the number of people staying which is appreciated. One thing that could be improved on is dishwasher ….it’s not cleaning too well but easy fix needs salt & rinse aid … All in all if you’re group it’s a very easy comfortable fit .

Perfect home from home!

This was our second stay at Ridge Barn and we had another wonderful weekend. Location is perfect for exploring surrounding areas, and house comfortably had enough room for 6 adults 3 kids and 2 dogs! Everything you could need is provided and the house is clean, comfortable and just a real home from home. We look forward to returning next year!

Beautiful place to stay!

Lovely place to stay with everything we needed :) the barn and grounds are beautiful, as is the surrounding area. Plenty to do! I took my 4 children and dog, they all loved it! It's a stunning place but it's also comfortable for a family without worrying something is going to be destroyed. Very well set out. Thankyou very much!

Ridge Barn was everything that was described. A huge amount of space for our family gathering. For us the location on the edge of the Cotswolds was ideal; we enjoyed the walks directly from the property during our weekend stay. A lovely property, which has been refurbished to a high standard. We really enjoyed our stay . The barn was spotless, comfortable and peaceful . All rooms are spacious. Well located to drive to attractions around the Cotswolds. My only negative is, I would have liked the garden to be a little more enclosed for my dog. The plant pot barrier instead of the fence ment she could get out which wasn’t ideal.

A clean property in a great location with modern amenities. Highly Recommended!

The barn is equipped with modern amenities and is located in a charming and tranquil area. It is a family friendly single-floor home. Beautiful outdoor dining /seating area overlooking the fields. Young kids will love watching the sheep in the fields next to the home. The owners are also lovely and helpful when assistance is needed. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a Cotswold stay and we would also return again.
