It was close to the trails in the Hiawatha Forest for our off road adventures and close to the highway for our tourist adventures. The yard was large as was the fire pit with enough chairs for us all to gather. The indoor space was large and open allowing us plenty of room to visit and dine. The mudroom was a great place to drop our gear so we didn't bring the outdoors in. The pictures in the description do not do it justice. It is bigger brighter newer and nicer than it appears. Everything you need is there, icemaker, curling Iron, blow dryer, bedding, towels, dishwasher, washer and dryer, coffee maker, coffee filters, soap. Though it is not desolate, you feel as though it is. No neighbors in sight, very quiet and peaceful. Approximately 10 to 15 minutes from town. It has a Fire pit with plenty of chairs, small patio with gas grill and round picnic table. Two car attached garage with mudroom between the garage and the house. The house was a good size for two couples, my two aunts and an adult cousin and two dogs. We had 4 vehicles and a trailer with a Razor and 4x4\. Great location for all the trails, sight seeing and getting to restaurants and stores. Everything was clean, but it is time to refresh the couch and some of the mattresses.
