"Hotel staff was great .Room was in need of update .Linen on bed was stained."

"Property advertised as historic and fine lodging however we were given a run down small apartment in a front house up large flight of stairs with outside broken porch stairs. Plumbing was broken and kitchenette sink bubbled up and shot up dirty waste water smelling like sewer. We did not see brown water everywhere until second night because we did not use that area until then. We heard something and smelled but didn’t find it until 2nd night. Shower leaked, blinds broken and furniture like garage sale finds. Cob webs and we had spiders. Upon arrival there was no parking and we were directed to property next door which they said they owned also but was other businesses area. We had to bring all of our belongings from that location. Were told wedding so we thought just that time. The entire stay we had to park off site because entire lot filled with wedding guests. We were told no other rooms because full due to wedding. Upon check out I addressed all of the details with pictures and was refunded 20% once we got home from Expedia account. Restaurant was excellent but everything else we experienced was not at all what was presented in advertisement and very disappointing. Perhaps other rooms ok but our setting was not acceptable or suited for stay especially because of plumbing and broken stairs to access house area. We were not told room was up large flight of stairs and if we were not fit we would not be able to climb not carry belongings up. Sad experience. "

"Room was clean Easy parking on site Pleasant Staff Only issue was this was the 2nd trip to the hotel and our room wasn’t ready after check in time. "

"The accommodations were very nice. The room was very clean, with up to date bathroom/shower. The room had the necessities, tv, microwave and fridge. It was budget friendly. Nice quaint shops nearby to explore. The staff was helpful assisting us to get an iron and ironing board since one wasn't in the room. The manager was not on-site but very helpful via phone/text. He provided ideas on local restaurants for us. We would definitely stay there again. "

"The staff was very nice, the hotel was clean. The bath tub had no grips or mat thus it was very slippery. We used a towel in the tub. Definitely a hazard "
