The cabin was darling! A nice quiet cove that was so relaxing and peaceful for our family. Our little dog was so happy too! The dock was bigger in person and perfect to hang out on and swim around. We’d highly recommend this house!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful cabin. The beds were comfortable. The firewood supply is a very nice touch. We really enjoyed the fire pit. Everything we needed was in the cabin. Plenty of entertainment provided for all ages (kayaks, fishing tackle, TV’s in every room, games). I definitely recommend this cabin for a getaway.

This property is wonderful! The pier right out the back door, the fire pit off the porch, screened seating area, it is all perfect whether you are bringing a family or just for two. Love the house and area. Great host. Plenty of firewood provided which was perfect as a cold front came through and we all had a great time around the smokeless fire pit. Can't wait to go back and stay a little longer next time.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, cozy, and included many amenities. My kids were pleased with the basket of treats on arrival. We had fun fishing, kayaking, board games, darts, sitting by the fire etc. We loved being able to have our fur baby with us. We would love to return during the summer!

We had a wonderful stay! House is roomy and outside area has plenty of space to hang out. There were a couple of issues that were dealt with promply by contacting the owner who answered my txt and called right away!! Can' wait to come back! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with our family ❤️ Do know that cell phone service can be a bit sketchy on the way up so map it out before you leave your house, just in case.

Very nice place!

We really enjoyed our stay this week. The house was very clean, well appointed for decorations and they had the kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles, everything you needed. Just bring the bait! Bring paper plates if you don’t want to wash dishes. There were many pots and pans, which was great. Plenty of spices, etc for cooking. We definitely will come back if we have the time. Owner of the house was very helpful and responded quickly to text. Thank you again Josh!!

We had another wonderful stay at the Heart of Huxley Bay! We first saw out this particular cabin because it allowed pets and looked very clean. Though we didn’t bring our dog at this time, our children requested that we go back to this very location this year. Josh is always very helpful and welcoming. And, the cabin is always in tiptop shape with wonderful amenities included. We look forward to another stay here in the future.
