"We stayed at Mallards Nest Last weekend..It was AWESOME......3 Dad's with there college age Son's. Plenty of room...We played poker every night, as well as pool & foozeball. we used the Blackstone, smash burgers, steaks & chicken... Beds were comfortable...We enjoyed cocktails on the porch & patio while watching the amazing Sunsets....Go ahead and book it before we do !!"

"The location of this property is very close to I-65. The traffic noise is intense night and day. Sleeping was interrupted constantly. I would not choose to stay at this property again."

"For just under $480 Cdn for 1 night, we were expecting a pretty nice room, but this was far worse than almost any other hotel room we've stayed in and I'm glad there is an opportunity to add photos. We arrived quite late at night after being 'on the go' for 16 hours, pretty much fell into bed, and didn't notice much until the morning. 1) "filter status" on the water fountain/bottle filling station in the hallway was red and the water was terrible 2) the tv apparently has 90+ channels, but the remote has no numberpad so the only option is to channel+/- one at a time and the on-screen guide only lists the 'local' channels (maybe 20 or so) 3) the main room light housed a collection of dead bugs 4) the sprinkler was very roughly cut into the ceiling drywall, not finished/capped at all, and we could see some of the pipes 5) and then there's the bathroom......!! • the exhaust fan did not work • the shower curtain bar was wobbly and wall tiles were cracked at both ends • the tub had sustained some damage and the so-called repair was very sloppy • something dark brown was splattered all over the outside of the full length of the tub • multiple areas of the bathroom walls had brown splatters/drips, including beside the toilet With only 1 other hotel in town right now (looks like a 3rd is under construction), I guess they can get away with charging 5-star rates for a 2-star (at best) room. Breakfast was decent, but we had better at much less expensive properties."

"Off the beaten path for sure, if your scared of the dark would not recommend. It’s very dark at night, no street lights and it’s in the woods. The place was ok, just would have been better if it had a microwave, and a better shower. Te shower head needed to be replaced. Doesn’t have a very big mirror, needs a bigger one.Did not have any hand soap had to go buy our own and even dish soap."

" Hotel.com was amazing absolutely no problem with you. But the clerk screwed up royally. I can not even rate them right now. It was totally one discriminar yes. When you speak another language with disregard to your customer in front of you to someone I assume his manger in the same language thinking your customer is a idiot dumb or stupid to understanding what you are saying in a different language is disrespectful perood. You do not know your customers knowledge period. So I understand and i recorded his talk to manager cause i made him fix what happened. I did exactly as he asked and it was very unpleasant experience and i will never be back and everyone will know what happened. Don't ever disrespect a customer. They were paid in full exactly as he asked and I'm not full able to discuss yet. I have a heart for all of humanity and multiple friends around the world never disrespect someone who is bring you business. I was very angry and it was absolutely nothing Hotel.com did. You guys were awesome. I've there twice in 3 weeks and both were issues. But this was aweful. He berated women and it rolled on. My husband was very upset. But i have proof of his language. And i have friends are very angry. But maybe tomorrow i will feel less hurtful. I'm hurt because it was wrong and disrespectful period to everyone but today it was me "

"The views were stunning, the property was gorgeous! The house was so nicely updated, yet didn't lose it's coziness and charm at all. It was immaculately clean and clearly very well taken care of. The host checked in on us frequently and made sure we knew that they were available if we needed anything. We brought our Labrador with us and the home and property was so intentionally planned for pets, it was so easy to have our dog there with us. Our kids played all weekend on the dock, with the corn hole game and loved the theater set up. We felt so at home there, we will 1000% be back to stay here again!"
