"We had a one night stay for my wife's birthday. Greeted by staff who were absolutely fabulous.Room and corridors spotless and had a very pleasant odour throughout. Room had all facilities robes, flip flops, tea / coffee. Could not ask for more. We didn't take the spa package this time around but seen the facilities The outdoor infinity pool is stunning. Breakfast was another hi point - wow. Matched the hotels high standards. A little bit dear but well worth it. Well done Salt house we will be back !!"

"The hotel does have a major advantage of its location, they don’t need to make big efforts to fill the rooms. Despite that, the staff was very welcoming and professional and the property is well maintained (the best that can be done with a listed building). The food quality….. that’s another story. Definitely not up to the standards for such a hotel. More like the food from petrol stations on motorways. It was a mistake to dine there and maybe I should have searched for decent restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast also quite poor both quantity but mainly quality."

"A perfect place to stay to access Giant's Causeway. Very nice room, very comfortable bed, nice shower. Breakfast was awesome. I did a walk from Portstewart to the guest house. I think in total it was 16 miles. I was exhausted by the time I got there. Then a panic, dinner? But lo and behold, two restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk. Phew! Loved this place!"

"The setting of this property is stunning. To wake up to the beach view each morning and to fall asleep listening to the crashing waves! Idyllic!! We spent some quiet evenings up in the garden house with the lovely view. The beds were super comfy. Driving up and down the narrow switch back road is not for the faint of heart but well worth it!!"
