The room was not very clean. Once of the beds was terrible. It felt more like a box spring and was bent. The building did not smell good. The staff was friendly and the pool was nice and clean.

Great stay. Breakfast station was good as well with Waffle, Sausage,Eggs, Potatoes, Cereal. The desk attendant at my check in was VERY accommodating. Will stay again.

This hotel, though being older, is very comfortable. It is centrally located on highway 17 with convenient access. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic, but you won’t leave hungry. It would be nice if they would add some fresh fruit to the options available. For a reasonably priced stay, I’d stay here again.

The Days Inn in Shallotte was okay for a quick overnight stay, but I probably wouldn’t choose it again. The room was reasonably clean, but the hotel feels dated and could definitely use some renovations. The bed was decent enough, but the overall condition of the property left something to be desired. The staff was polite and check-in was easy, which I appreciated. If you’re just looking for an inexpensive place to sleep, it gets the job done, but don’t expect much beyond the basics.

There are no stairs... We were fine with it but didn't realize when I booked. Parts of the hotel were more updated, others looked a bit sketchy. But overall seemed to be on the up and up. The hotel was clean and the staff was great.

1. Liked the American style breakfast, with eggs, sausage, along with the usual bread products. Some chains advertising "breakfast included" are Continental only,with no meat or eggs --just breads, fruit, etc. 2. Liked the TV with actual stations linked to numbers on the remote. I HATE the steaming style of choosing screens to finally get to what you are looking for, and at times cannot see where the station you want is found. On the Guide on this TV remote, it is clear -- the station numbers on the left and the channels like ESPN, TVLand, etc. to the right. Click the numbers and hit OK, and the station comes in. 3. Issues -- water backed up in the tub when I took a shower. Took an hour or more before it finally drained. 4. One of the two keys I was given did not work. I went out to get some ice down the hall and only took on of the key cards. It didn't work, so I took it to the attendant at the desk, who gave me a new re-programmed card. It did work.

They offered everything we needed and everything worked as expected. We were very happy that the facility was pet friendly and were able to bring our dog. One thing to mention, the walls are very thin, so don’t be surprised if you hear extracurricular activities. We are pretty sure a baby was being made at breakfast time hours.
