Alice and it's glaciers. We are in a quiet neighborhood only 5 minutes from downtown Seward and walking and biking distance to world class fishing. We offer a state-of-the-art kitchen, standalone bathtub, barbecue, fire pit, cable tv, Wi-Fi. Plenty of biking and hiking paths. Across the creek lies the world-famous Iditarod Trail. So much to offer in this area near Seward - check out the beaches near this VRBO, the kids have a wonderful time finding and skipping rocks and seeing the ships go by. It's rustic nature and quiet location with amazing views was what we needed for Seward. Great kitchen and living area. Lovely, open space with a loft style upstairs as a second sleeping space. Nice views from the upstairs windows. Well appointed property with excellent kitchen (which we used) and all the cookware plates, glasses, bowls, mugs... that you could ever want. Comfortable living room. About 7 minutes to Seward downtown, and 5 minute drive to grocery store. We received an unexpected communication from the host with directions to the Bear Creek Weir were we were able to watch silver salmon attempting the leap the 2' waterfall towards their spawning grounds. Fun to watch, and one of the trip's many highlights for a couple of midwesterners. Overall a great property, and accommodating host.
