The property is very nice and clean, with many amenities, right on the beach. The included breakfast was excellent, with made-to-order selections. The room was large and nicely decorated. However the AC did not cool the room adequately and we could not sleep because of the heat. The staff did nothing to correct the issue. There was no mention of having maintenance look into the problem, so I am assuming this is the norm. I asked other guests about their room temps and most said it was not as cool as they would have liked, but was livable. The only compensation we got was not being charged for the parking. I would not stay there again because of the AC. It was pretty miserable. If AC was not an issue, I would highly recommend the hotel.

Great location , right on the beach. Good service with proactive staff. Rooms are very nice , comfortable and clean. Facilites are new so it is very comfortable. I like the breakfast included (eggs, fresh fruit , pastries and of course cheese and prosciuto. Close to lot is shopping and restaurants. You have to try at least once the dining at the private beach….it is $$$ but worth and excelent taste…it is a must. The beach is quiet and they offer umbrellas and seats at a fee (I didn’t like that but all the hotels charge for it). The view is excellent. I would come back for sure!!

The air conditioners did not work because they do not change their filters. Suffered through the first night, changed rooms and the same problem in the second room. Had a maintenance man come to change the filter that was filled with dust. Spoke with other guests and they also had miserable nights. The shower seals to keep the water in we’re not secure and water got all over the floor…. A huge mess. David the waiter was the most attentive and help staff member there…. The others not so much, they were probably tired of the complaints about the air conditioning in the rooms….. meanwhile the lobby where they work was nice and cold. So disappointed and they didn’t offer to comp anything.

Dear Ms Jennifer, Please be informed that AC filters are changed on a regular basis. When the conditioners work intensively filters may need to be cleaned more often. You also have to consider that this is an exceptionally and unexpectedly extremely hot Summer with so many heat waves in a row. We are sorry to hear you did not find the majority of our Staff to be as helpful as expected, normally our standards of service are greatly appreciated by Guests and well rated. This hotel and their service was terrible. After complaining there was no AC, a rude man brought up a fan that would not go under 27 degrees. They charged for parking excessively,

The AC system was affected, meaning that in some rooms temperature was not as expected, that's why we offered you a portable unit to be added in your room. For the cost of a nights stay - there should have been no charge to use the beach. Since folks are turned off by teh fee - they are not going to the beach more then once on weeks stay and not spending money on lunch/dinner otherwise. Enjoyed the stay.

Disappointing Bay Stay
We have mixed reviews of our stay. The hotel is located in a prime spot on the Bay. I paid extra to get a room directly on the Bay. The view was wonderful. Our room was clean and our attendant ensured we were satisfied. We used the spa services and the attendants in the spa were amazing!!! I definitely recommend their spa services. The disappointment came with the check-in staff as they were not helpful or really friendly. On the second day, we were not able to use the ocean as the city was holding an all day event in the water. When I complained, the hotel staff said sorry but nothing changed. I even paid extra for this hotel to be right on the water and then was not able to use it on the full day we had. No taxi services were available and the hotel transport service was not available until 8 am; we needed to leave earlier than 8. We ended up walking with our suitcases back to the train station. For the price of the hotel, I expect better service.

If you are visiting Cinque Terre “It’s A Great place to stay. A bit hard to find with a car but eventually you can get there. The location is great but the interior and rooms are really quite old. It could be great but is really in need of a huge update.

From now on, my first choice in Sestri Levante!
This hotel was truly amazing! We stayed in a room with a huge terrace with a view right on the Baia del Silenzio.. stunning view! Breakfast was very good and again, with a wonderful view of the sea.. Best hotel in Sestri Levante so far!

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Staff was friendly and helpful, including picking us up at the train station. Highly recommend an ocean view room, the sound of the waves lapping on the beach will lull you to sleep. The buffet breakfast had a great selection and the staff would bring eggs made to order.

Loved the view from the room and from the terrace (over breakfast). Fantastic beach. There were a couple of miscommunications with the restaurant/dining staff. Other than that, We would go back in a heart beat!!! The hotel was very accommodating - getting us to/from the train station (5+ minutes away).

Beautiful Location
This hotel is in the most perfect location. Not a touristy place with very few English speaking visitors so a real escape. There are lots of Italian tourists visiting the town and using the local beaches so the private beach of this hotel is just perfect. The bar overlooking the water is a wonderful way to spend an early evening. The evening bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. They even informed us of the blood moon to make sure we didn’t miss out. Very knowledgable about the area too. Bedroom was clean and tidy with lots of wardrobe space. Reception staff were a bit cold at times and not as kind as bar staff. Not rude though - just not very offering of information or help! Very helpful shuttle service from the station to the hotel (but no offer to take us back again at the end of our stay). Breakfast was good. The focaccia (local bread) was amazing. Hoping to go back again which probably says a lot.

The hotel is in a great location. Train station to go to Cinque Terre is a 10 min walk from hotel. Great restaurants in the area. Portofino is about a 45 min drive!

The place to stay when visiting Sestri Levante
We stayed in this lovely hotel for three nights and loved it! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also helped me by preparing a surprise cake for my husband’s birthday and delivered it to our room with some Prosecco. Service was always really good, our room was spacious and fresh. The breakfast restaurant has a view on the beautiful beach. Food was good too, especially focaccia. The location of the hotel is perfect as it’s located on the most beautiful spot in Sestri Levante, the beach Baia dei Silenzi. The hotel has a private beach part and sun loungers straight on the sand, perfection! Also for some extra you get a spot in the hotel’s garage, which is perfect when arriving with a car. Definitely would stay again!

A lovely boutique style hotel right on the beach.
A very warm welcome when we arrived and the receptionist showed us around the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was delightful and bed comfortable, very clean with a nice en-suite providing all amenities required. I would definitely recommend both the hotel and the area.
