Cavezzone: idyllic Cottage in the countryside near Levanto/Cinque Terre

The original cottage (one floor) 'Ca Vezzone' has two beautiful terraces and a huge garden with views of the surrounding meadows and hills. It's situated at the border of the village Sesta Godano and it's very calm there. 'Cavezzone' has three bedrooms, living / dining room and a kitchen. The lower terrace is old, picturesque stone build and borders to a wine and rose covered Pergola Terrace which leads in the huge garden. It's a romantic place.
In the immediate vicinity of the house is a public sports field with two tennis courts. Within a few minutes walking distance there are shops, restaurants, pharmacy, dry cleaner, bars and supermarkets which make also cakes and bread and specialities of the ligurian region.
Sesta Godano is a typical Ligurian village inland, 17 km from the picturesque coast of Liguria, Levanto and the Cinque Terre. The area around Sesta Godano, the Val di Vara (Valley of Vara), is marked by green, densely wooded hills and rivers and Gottero Vara. The Monte Gottero, the highest mountain, (1,639 m) is ideal for mountain biking and hiking.

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub (2 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder im schönen Ligurien verbracht). Küste und Umgebung von Sesta Gordano sind wirklich schön. Das Dorf selbst auch. Bei der Ferienunterkunft handelt es sich jedoch nicht um ein Haus, sondern lediglich um eine größere Wohnung. Zur privaten Nutzung steht nur die Dachterrasse zur Verfügung. Die "untere Terrasse", die in den Garten übergeht teilt man sich mit den Mietern unter der Ferienwohnung. Diese untere Wohnung ist an mehrere männliche Handwerker vermietet, die an den Wochenenden bis spät in die Nacht laut waren. Die Hochspannungsleitung hört man ständig mehr oder weniger laut knistern. Gegenüber Ist eine Fabrik (kaum sichtbar) in der teilweise bis 4 Uhr nachts lautstark gearbeitet wird. Fußball auf den Sportplatz nebenan immer bis ca. 1:00 nachts. Wer Ruhe sucht ist in dieser Ferienwohnung (insbesondere abends/nachts) falsch.

Appartement sympa avec terrasse à la campagne.
Location plutôt agréable . Le point faible concerne la cuisine insuffisamment équipée,ni four ni micro ondes . Pour 6 personnes il manque également un peu de vaisselle . Terrasse bien agréable .

Echte vakantie in Sesta Godano
Een heerlijke vakantiewoning , waar je echt tot uitrusten komt. Alles is aanwezig om zelfs met 6 personen hiervan te genieten. In een straal van 100 km is heel veel natuur, cultuur en strandleven te genieten. Het dorp heeft met zijn zeer vriendelijke en hulpvaardige inwoners ons hart gestolen.

Alles perfekt und sehr schöne unterkunft
Bereits im Vorfeld hat die Kommunikation bestens geklappt. Auf alle Fragen wurde sofort geantwortet. Die Abwicklung vor Ort war auch problemlos - viele Tipps (Einkaufen, Restaurants usw,) waren hilfreich. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich, die Terrasse und der Garten groß. Leider war von Montag bis samstags durch eine nahegelegenen Firma eine ständige Geräuschkulisse (wie wenn ständig etwas abgesprüht, gereinigt wird). Da man aber ja nicht ständig in der Wohnung ist, ist es nicht problematisch für uns gewesen. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder 🙂

Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes ein paar Mal Kontakt zu einer sehr netten Dame, die sich unserer Probleme sehr gut angenommen hat. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sehr italienisch:-). Die Lage am letzten Ende der Wohnanlage war für uns ideal, so hatten wir und unsere Hunde unsere Ruhe.

Idylle, Ruhe und Vogelgezwitscher
Wir haben uns mit 5 erwachsenen Personen in dem romantischen gemütlichen Altbau am Dorfrand sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders der Weg durch die antiken Gemäuer und kleinen Gassen entführt jedes Mal weg vom modernen Alltag zu einem ruhigen Rückzugsort. Zu der Wohnung gehört eine Terrasse mit schönem Ausblick in die Natur, ein Hof mit Grillmöglichkeit und Wiese. Dass das Haus Spül- und Waschmaschine und zwei Badezimmer hat, haben wir genossen. Wer Idylle, Ruhe und Vogelgezwitscher liebt, ist hier genau richtig!

Familienurlaub in der Natur
Für naturverbundene Familien ist die Ferienwohnung in Sesta Godano ein gutes Ziel. Die Wohnung selbst ist rustikal und einfach, die dicken Mauern sorgen für angenehme Kühle in der Sommerhitze, die beiden Terrassen bieten sowohl für Sonnenanbeter wie auch für Schattennutzer gute Sitzmöglichkeiten. Der große Garten mit Wiese bietet für die Kinder Platz zum Toben. Die charmante, gastfreundliche Ortschaft bietet alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die Pizzeria in der Hauptstraße ist empfehlenswert, das lokale Freibad ist gut gepflegt und bietet eine Alternative zur Fahrt ans Meer. Während der Hauptsaison ist es besonders an den Wochenenden fast unmöglich in einem der Badeorte einen Parkplatz zu finden. Ausflüge in die wunderschöne Cinque Terre sollten besser auch mit dem Zug unternommen werden, wir hatten das Auto in Levanto am Bahnhof geparkt. Dienstags ist ein Markt in dem kleinen Städtchen Varese, unweit von Sesta Godano etwas mehr im Hinterland. Für unsere Kinder war das im Sommer nur wenig durchströmte Flussbett der Vara ein immer wieder besuchter Abenteuerspielplatz, auch das Reh auf unserer Wiese am Morgen und die Fledermäuse, die abends über unsere Terrasse kreuzten, waren besonders für die Kinder ein Erlebnis. Fazit: Für naturverbundene Familien, die sich einen Urlaub jenseits des Touristenrummels wünschen ist diese rustikale Ferienwohnung empfehlenswert. Familie Volk/ NRW

Ruhig und geräumig
Wir haben in der Wohnung einen schönen Aufenthalt von insgesamt 10 Tagen mit unserem Baby von 7 Monaten verlebt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sesta Godano ist eine Kleinstadt im ligurischen Appenin. Vor Ort ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt: Supermarkt, einfache Restaurants und auch zwei gemütliche Bars am Dorfplatz. Zum nächsten Strand in Levanto fährt man etwa 40 Minuten. Die Unterkunft selbst hat einen urtümlich ländlichen Charakter. Einfach, ohne Luxus, aber alles in Ordnung. Von der großen Terrasse schaut man in Wiesen und Felder. Natürlich gibt es in dieser Umgebung auch ein paar Mücken und kleine Spinnen. Dafür entschädigt abends aber die Glühwürmchen-Disco. In der Wohnung sind sämtliche Küchenutensilien vorhanden. Und um das auch klarzustellen: Es gibt zwar eine Hochspannungsleitung. Diese geht aber nicht direkt am Haus vorbei, sondern in rund 50 Metern Entfernung. Man hört das Knistern, nur wenn man genau hin hört. Im Fazit können wir die Unterkunft jedem Empfehlen, der rustikales, ruhiges Landleben schätzt und nichts erwartet, was über einen normalen Komfort hinausgeht.
