It is located perfectly near Hongdae station (no matter Seoul Metro Line No.2 or the Airport Railway) with various choices of restros and shops. Staff was friendly and helpful. And you could meet and chat with travellers of various nationalities. It would be perfect if you are a budget traveller. One tip for guests in the future, bring a padlock (or padlocksss) then you can store some of your heavy valuables in the locker in the bedroom. It was so thin and uneven. I waited15 min for check-in because the check-in staff left the hostel. That was unprofessional. The 2nd floor hallway smelled like sewage. Bathrooms and rooms were not cleaned. The bathroom was cleaned only once during my 3 night stay. The trash can in the bathroom were overflowing and yet were not emptied!!! Disgusting. People kept leaving the outer door and the room door open. The outer door lock on the 2nd floor did not work properly. A huge security concern!!! It was definitely the best choice I made. I was able to meet people from all over the world and make new friends! The atmosphere was wonderful. I had a lot of fun during my stay! The dorm rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were clean. I really liked the make up room for the girls. Eggs, toast, and jelly were available for you to have breakfast. There was a small kitchen for cooking, and they had the utensils you need. The staff was really friendly. They were always willing to help us do things like order food delivery or suggest places to go. When it was time to move to my dorm, they helped us call a taxi. The house is in a great location in hongdae. It is perfect if you are into street music, shopping, and the night life in general. But I will not stay here again due to other guests. I did not sleep for three days, and I had to get up early for tours. This hostel is very social, which is fine. But the days I was there, the other guests were having parties and yelling late in the night. The last night, when the other guest was still yelling at 3am I was really considering to check in at another place down the road. The common room is right next to the dorms.
