This was a fantastic villa. It’s very large compared to many villas in Seminyak. The kitchen and indoor lounge was amazing. The location is great, close to everything. This was our second stay at Kei Villas, and it did not disappoint. There is some noise late at night on the weekends from nearby clubs, but it didn’t interrupt our sleep. The pool lounges are in the shade, which was what we wanted, but you can move them to around to get some more sun. The pool is lovely and always in the sun. Facilities - very old, definitely needs an update. Everything was only half working and quite often the bathroom would have a rotten egg/ sulfer smell. Wifi kept cutting out, didn't quite work. Staff - Accommodating and helpful. They would attend to any needs and assisted where they could if it wasn't out of their control. In general it's very disappointing. The swimming pool was very dirty and gave us rashes on our skin that we had to call the villa to get someone do a test on water. Then the guy found out the PH 'basic' level was way too high that he had to pour acid in. We couldn't use the pool for 2 days! The second bedroom constantly smells really bad especially the toilet! Hot water in shower runs out after 10mins of use. there were so many centipedes and blood worms in the villa which means they didn't spray any insect spray before guests arrival. However, the villa staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds in this villa are very comfy! Due to a flight delay we checked in late and one of the staff stayed late to make sure we got in okay, and then welcomed us with a complementary cocktail. The villa was perfect. It was a mix of traditional art and modern style, equipped with powerful aircon and all necessities. We were given personalised breakfast each morning and the staff would always greet us with a smile on the way in and out. Villas were set back from the street so you couldn’t hear any traffic and we’re located near amazing food and drink options (the fat turtle for breakfast is a must) . Perfect location. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. It's in a convenient neighborhood where there are plenty of bars and restaurants within 15min walk. Beach is also around 5min walk. There is only one complaint, that is in regards to the hot water for shower. First night when we arrived there was no hot water for shower (I supposed the water boiler was not switched on or something). We didn't mention to the staffs as it was in the middle of the night. The problem was fixed the next after telling the staffs. However, there seems to be limited supply of hot water, not really enough for 4 quick showers one after another. I have been to Bali 3 times last year and have always stayed at Jln Cendrawasih. This time I opted for Jln Petitenget and picked this. This place is huge and the staff are always so friendly and happy to help. Housekeeping was amazing too! I had clothes lying around and they folded everything for us! I also loved how close this was to Guardian and a mini mart. My favourite breakfast place, Cafe Organic, and spa, Spring Spa, were within a 5 minute walk. My only grouse was that the tub wasn't working very well (the stopper had some issues). Stayed in Villa 3\. Large, spacious, beautifully decorated and appointed. Facilities were great and kids loved the large private pool. Breakfast was good but not outstanding, could do with more variety. Mosquitoes were a problem but much less than other places in Bali. The water cooler provided was hugely appreciated and so was the large portable aircon in the living area. One thing we noticed was the water in the shower could do with more pressure as well as hotter. Otherwise near perfect stay and experience. Pictures are exactly what it looks like. We are a family of 4, 2 older sons 12&16\. Furnishings were all comfortable and we slept comfortably, I have a bad back so I get particular. Large bathrooms attached to each room, Villas are separate but close so even with younger kids it would be ok. Only thing that didn't make it a 5 for cleanliness was that the towels seemed older. The property location does have some bars nearby, I didn't go but could hear a little bit of night life. Not an issue for me but could be a consideration to someone else. There are small ants in the decking and mosquitoes occasionally but they light incense and spray for both. Cafes and shops are all around. The beach is also in walking distance, about 5-7 min. We love all the food in Bali, from foreign food to western food. The breakfast in our villa can be made in your villa or made in their kitchen and walked over. Wifi and tv worked great. Service was excellent, mostly speak English and if the person didn't they'd bring someone out who could. Only 3 Villas on the property and I saw 3 people working every time. Plenty of service to accommodate all our questions and help we may have needed. I highly recommend this villa. ##### Seon
