I didn’t even stay at my night here. This was the worse accommodation I’ve ever stayed at. My room was infested with ants, bed sheets and towels were dirty. Room was not well kept. Ants crawling across the walls, and the room was not even close to the cleanliness in the pictures. The front desk staff offered to give me another room, but if this place thought the first room was sufficient to offer to a paying guest, then I wasn’t interested in seeing the next option. I asked for a refund, and the desk staff refused. I just left, extremely irritated and angry. Disgusting place. It was surprisingly peaceful. The outlook across the river is a bit shabby but it didn't bother us. Very considerate management. If I wanted to order food in they would make the call (I didn't have a sim card for Bali). Wifi solid - I ran three devices on it with no problems. The area has its plusses and minuses however. To find something to eat, walking, you have to go down a very busy street - not far but it is tiring over several days. However, the Homestay sits on the bank of a river and is off the main tourist area, which I liked. Quiet and charming in its own way.
