This vacation rental offers modern comforts in a historic setting. The “Olle Fresenkaat” was originally built in the late 19th century as a small farmhouse with a barn and hayloft and was used as such for many years. In the early 2000s, the house was lovingly restored and transformed into a cozy residence with two living units. We’ve drawn on our own vacation experiences in various vacation homes to ensure you feel right at home with us. The resulting blend of a comfortable environment and functionality gives our Fresenkaat a unique atmosphere, which we subject to rigorous and repeated stress tests through our in-house material testers to prove its suitability for families. The kitchen features a large gas stove, offering the ambitious home cook plenty of opportunity to let their creativity run wild. A cozy dining area and a snug living room with a fireplace and a large TV round out the living space. A large and comfortable king-size box-spring double bed (200 x 200) in the bedroom and two large single box-spring beds (100 x 200) in the small “children’s room” offer you plenty of space to relax and comfort after beach walks in Sankt Peter Ording, a shopping trip to nearby Denmark, a visit to NordArt in nearby Büdelsdorf, or any number of other activities…. For those days when the weather isn’t cooperating, there are plenty of ways to keep yourself entertained indoors—our book collection offers plenty of Nordic (and, of course, other) reading material, and a DVD collection that you can play on our PlayStation is also at your disposal. For all other days, the apartment features a large terrace with a beach chair, a large umbrella, and comfortable lounge furniture—perfect for a cozy evening outdoors.
