The house was clean and very comfortable. It is not a large house. The kitchen and living areas are more than adequate, but not large. We had 2 couples and we stayed for 3 nights. We were gone all day, hiking and visiting many sights in the area. We ate our breakfasts and dinners at the house, either cooking or picking up from Nick's (yum!). Thoroughly enjoyed the clean hottub as well. It is so nice to return from a long day of walking, hiking, fun and relax in a clean, well-maintained hottub. Red Rocks Crossing trails were amazing, full of birds. We love birding! We also visited the Wetlands Preserve which was also full of birds. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals around the country, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in West Sedona. I loved that the house is located in a neighborhood. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the early morning and evening watching the birds, quail and javelinas. We did not spend time in the town of Sedona (too 'touristy' for us). I am so glad I booked this house in West Sedona, to get away from the tourist trap. Thank you for opening your house to us. The welcome gifts and bottle of wine were very thoughtful and a nice touch.
