What a lovely home for nine people to comfortably stay in. Very close to a wonderful beach and within walking distance to town. The house was clean and well-maintained.

Wonderful vacation!
I had never visited Oregon before. When I come back, I'm hopefully staying here again! This was an amazing place for our family to spend a week. So clean, updated, and comfortable. The king bed for everyone sold me, and the 80s arcade machine was a bonus, but everything about the house is perfect.

First let’s talk about the view! The most beautiful ocean view and Mountain View from so many different points in the house. The beach was an easy walk across the street. Location was amazing. Close enough to seaside but felt like we had our own private beach as it was not busy as the main beach in seaside. The beds were so comfy and the pillows as well. There was everything you could ever need in this home from utensils to spices etc. the hot tub was a huge hit as well as the ping pong table! We will definitely be back next year!

Perfect for couples!
We had 5 couples stay here and it was perfect accommodations! Everyone had their own private space but there was plenty of room to come together for meals and visiting. The location is great and we didn't have any complaints!

Great location and a beautifully designed home! Loved the ocean views and beach access is right across the ( quiet) road. The beds are comfortable and the house is squeaky clean! We felt like we were at an HGTV home not a rental. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful beach home!
Driving to the home and Check in was a breeze! House is very beautiful with lots of windows and window coverings. The house was clean and the hot tub was clean and ready to go as well! The house set across the street from another house and then a bit of a walk to the ocean but seaside has a LOT of beach. It was nice to be away from the crowds and the kids enjoyed playing on the beach. They had two sets of hoses outside to rinse off the sand before entering the home. House had the most soft, plush carpet I’ve ever stepped on! The best stocked kitchen for cooking! The home owners do have a private pantry that remains locked (don’t blame them 🤗) lots seating to relax and read or watch a movie with the family. Property owners were easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Master bedroom and bath are Georgie I and spacious! Other bedrooms are large and comfy. The one bathroom with the bath tub is definitely smaller, but that we used for the kids. We will definitely want to stay here again and recommend this home to anyone wanting a visit to Seaside!

I rented this in July for Thanksgiving. On the day of check-in, the owner called to let me know she had rented it to someone else and they were already there. She only has one house, so it couldn't have been a mix-up, as we spoke on the phone about it being a Thanksgiving weekend family stay. Four plus working days later I have yet to see a refund; Home Away isn't much help. Do not book this house.

This home was perfect for our family - we especially enjoyed the comfortable beds, amazing kitchen, and proximity to a quiet beach. It’s one of the nicest homes we’ve ever rented on the Oregon coast. The only thing missing was a coffee pot (the house has a Keurig only).

We had a lovely stay at Once Upon a Tide! I would definitely recommend this location. The house was nicely decorated, clean, and well furnished. We were directly across from the street from the beach and we could easily take a jaunt to Cannon Beach or Astoria. We had a few questions and the owners were very prompt in their replies.

This house is just wonderful! The owners have thought of every detail. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, more than enough space, and great location with amazing views! Feels like band new construction. Small hiccup when we first arrived, but owner was extremely responsive, corrected the issue immediately, and it was not a problem. Highly recommend this house!!

We loved our stay. We were a large group of three families with small children. The house was the perfect size and the kitchen was absolutely beautiful and well stocked. Each room was a really good size and each has a king size bed. The garage space was also a great space for the kids to play on a rainy day. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come again.

First, the house is beautiful and impeccably clean. The kitchen is very workable as we prepared a large breakfast each morning. Not directly on the beach but very nice views of the ocean.You literally walk across a 10' street to walk to the ocean. Jennifer was good to work with. She was good at returning emails pretty promptly but did not return a couple of phone calls. We had an issue getting the TV in the living room working but eventually worked it out via trial and error. The TV equipment is top notch. Sony and Bose. A couple things that Jennifer should do IMO. There was no hand soap in the kitchen. There is not a coffee maker. Only a Keurig and there were no pods in the house. So we had to go right back out after arriving to buy coffee and creamer. I would think a starter set with some powder cream should be there. Also, none of the bathrooms had soap. Fortunately, we traveled with a bar but otherwise it would have been another trip to the store. Overall, it is very comfortable, very clean and in a great location. You can't go wrong staying here.

Amazing home with EVERYTHING you could possibly need and more!
We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to the coast! This home was fantastic! Plenty of room for all! The master on the main floor was a perfect place for our teenage boys, while the rest of us enjoyed the solitude upstairs! The kitchen was well appointed, with everything I needed to prepare breakfast for the masses! We truly enjoyed our stay, and will keep this home in mind the next time we are planning a trip to seaside!

What a gem!!!
We have been using VRBO for several years to stay at a house for our Christmas memories. We all voted this home as one of the top 3. It is very high in, from the wonderful comfortable beds, to the master suite shower on the 3rd floor, to every room having its own TV. The game table was fun. We are very lucky that the Hays family has opened their beautiful Seaside home for the average person to experience. So, thank you again and we hope to come back sometime soon.....

Very nice place with high end amenities
Our family of 7 stayed here over Thanksgiving and it was great. Due to The Shilo Inn cancelling all Thanksgiving reservations with 5 days advance we were in a pinch and chose to make our own dinner in a rental. This was probably more ambitious than we should have been, but we pleasantly surprised on the quality of the kitchen and resources that were there for us. The quality didn't stop in the kitchen either. The furniture, hot tub, carpet, bathroom, TV's all were much nicer than previous VRBO's have had. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. Do beware that there are stairs you have to use in case anyone in your party has problems with them.

Great Time at Seaside
Beautiful property, great access to the beach, family all had a wonderful experience coming from different parts of the US. Grandkids loved the minus tides especially. We really liked the location because the beaches were not crowded. Owners were very responsive.

Wonderful, clean, comfortable home with great views and a nice kitchen!
Our entire group truly loved this house! The beds are very comfortable, and most of the bedrooms have great views. I cooked huge meals for 8-10 people in the kitchen almost every night, and I loved that I could see the ocean from the kitchen sink! The 6 big teenagers spent hours playing ping pong in the garage, watching movies in the top floor lounge, and hanging out on the top floor deck. The hot tub got lots of use as well, as did the nice big TV in the family room, where we watched World Cup games as a group. The owner is wonderful and easy to deal with, as is their housekeeper. The house is very well maintained and is nice and clean. The only things I would change would be to add a wall mounted light-up magnifying makeup mirror to the master bathroom, (or for all of the bathrooms for that matter), and lots of small to medium sized mixing bowls, and a few big bowls for chips, popcorn, or big tossed salads. We stayed at the house for ten nights, and would also like access to bathroom cleaning supplies so that I can clean them myself in the middle of a long stay. These are all small improvements that I'd love to see happen, but are in no way complaints! I can't wait to return for another stay in this beautiful home.Thank you for everything Jennifer!!!

Great home with lots of room for our group. Good beach access. Easy walking distance to the Prom. The only negative was the coffee maker .... it was a kuerig....required an emergency trip to the store for pods. 😄. Highly recommend. We would love to stay again!

Beautiful house, fantastic location with a responsive owner
We had five couples stay in the five-bedroom house this past weekend (April 20th-22nd) and had a great time. There were three full bathrooms (two upstairs, one downstairs) which made schedules easy to work around, and each bedroom had huge beds so no couple got the short end of the stick room-wise. The beach is an easy walk from the front door. The house itself was well equipped with plates, glasses, silverware, linens and towels. On Saturday afternoon we went to use the hot tub and found that the water was low and had some debris. I had Jennifer's number and when I gave her a call, she quickly worked to resolve the issue. Any other time I sent the owners a message (both before and during the rental) they replied quickly, which was greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay and are already talking about whether we can do something similar next year. If we do, we will certainly consider coming back to this house!

This home is gorgeous inside and out!!! The personal touches make it shine even more!! The view is amazing, while having all of the comforts of home, which makes everything so easy. Awesome Beach Home
We went to Seaside for a family getaway with kids and grandkids. This house offered everything (with the exception of a 9x13 pan in the kitchen) we needed or wanted. It is beautiful on the inside, super TV, comfortable beds and pillows, well working kitchen, relaxing hot tub and games to play. Very short walk to beach and 4 blocks from the North Prom, making an easy walk to downtown Seaside. We all loved staying here and hope to return. Owners were very responsive to our questions and request.

Simply stunning!
We enjoyed an extended family get-together last weekend at this gorgeous property and everyone loved it. Our family ranges in age from 70 to 2 and it exceeded everyone's expectations across the board. Fantastic location right across from the beach and walking distance to the Prom. Gorgeous house steps from the beach!
This house was amazing. My girlfriends and I enjoyed a long weekend of relaxing in the comfortable living room and the hot tub, and each enjoyed our king-size beds.
