"Hotel room was really nice and spacious. Friendly staff and helpful. Large carpark for your stay but no electrical ports for electric vehicles so not that eco friendly. On check out after a 2 night stay had to pay £12 parking fee even though there’s no alternative as your in the middle of the countryside so seems rather cheeky, also £1 to plant a tree, I didn’t plant a tree and then £12 service charge, this on top of the hotel cost and the parking fees. "We stayed 2 nights with breakfast, a Friday and Saturday. It was a family stay as we were attending a wedding locally. We reserved 2 rooms. Both were clean, tastefully decorated and had small en-suites, one with a bath and the other a shower. The rooms were very warm. There was no air con but we opened a window and a fan was provided.
