"This was our third visit to Spa Cottages. It is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Parking can be a bit tight, but for the majority of the time we were able to park directly outside the property."

"Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area."

Lovely views across to the hills at the back & pheasants & lots of birds visit the garden.Very handy for the Coledale Inn, & the Royal Oak & 5 minutes in the car to Keswick if you want to try something different like Thai food at the the Star of Siam. "Great hotel and lovely friendly staff. Rooms are clean and bed is super comfy. It was quite warm though temperature wise on the top floor. Luckily we had a fan as the room was very warm and a little stuffy. Unfortunately during our stay all the outdoor spa facilities were closed due to renovations but indoor spa was good. Just a little crowded at the time we were there so we didn't stay in the spa long. The food in the bar area is great. Good selection of drinks too. Will definitely recommend and will stay again. Only issue is that location is a little out of the area so bit of a walk to get into town."
"We had a lovely family stay in Keswick from 17th to 22nd August and really enjoyed our time here. The location is excellent, surrounded by beautiful mountains and close to the lakes, with many Lake District attractions within an easy drive.
The hotel was particularly good for our family. We stayed in a family room for six, which gave us plenty of space. My daughter especially loved the heated swimming pool, and the leisure facilities were a real bonus. Everything was clean and well maintained, with a sauna, jacuzzi, showers and changing/locker areas for adults. There is also a spa where you can book treatments and massages.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. You can enjoy the buffet or arrange breakfast in your room by ordering in advance. We also enjoyed the restaurant during our stay.
Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces at both the front and back of the hotel, which was very convenient as we had our own car. From here, we could easily visit the lakes, mountains, wildlife parks and enjoy activities such as boat trips.
Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable family stay. If you’re looking for an all-in-one hotel in Keswick with good facilities, parking and a great location for exploring the Lake District, this is an excellent choice. We would happily stay again."
"Lovely hotel. Garden is beautiful with a great duck pond.
Staff very helpful. Restaurant very nice with great food lamb roast was delicious.
Room spacious and great shower.
Would recommend this hotel."
"Ease of parking, excellent dinner, lovely staff and a spacious room made for yet another extremely pleasant stay. Vanessa and the other dining room staff coped admirably with the additional presence of a very large number of cyclists and support teams on the first night that were involved in a high profile race."
"Great location & views from the hotel, short walk from the Lakes. Specious room. Food menu is good. Nice staff. We hired eBikes, Oliver was really helpful. Reception was quick easy check-in. Can't fault anything about the stay."
