Horizon Reach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is perfect for 3 couples with 3 bedrooms attached to their own bathrooms. The view is incredible and right off the shoreline. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The only thing that would have made the experience better would have been additional outdoor seating. The patio is perfect for whale watching but lacks seating for 6 people.

No one wanted to leave!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Horizon’s Reach was truly magical. My daughters and their husbands and my adult grandchildren especially loved the extensive library room, the pool table in the “mini maritime museum” plus the hot tub. There were beautiful views from every room, a wonderful kitchen, and lots of walking trails nearby. A hot water issue was taken care of promptly. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than our three days. No one wanted to leave!!

THE best view we've ever had!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has the most magnificent view! The house is well stocked. Rooms are generous and beds very comfy. Some throws in the living room for cuddling up would be good. Although the long window seats are generous and perfect for a nap, the lack of seating with backs is disappointing. Beautiful views of the coast and the ocean make it difficult to pull yourself away from staring at the great view!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great time at Horizon Reach. The weather was fantastic, just perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool room, kitchen and bedrooms the most. We have two wonderful chefs in our family who provided some yummy dinners. The bedrooms have wonderful views. We had deer visiting in the yard. The hiking trail is close by, so convenient. We highly recommend this house to any family who wants to have a great time in Sea Ranch. Also, much to do with a little driving.

Horizon Reach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is incredible with beautiful views and architecture. Each room was artistic in its presentation. It is showing a little wear and tear in some areas. It would have been helpful to have instructions on the use of the stove, oven, hot tub, etc. The coffeemaker did not work. There was plenty of room for six adults for 5 nights, but only one towel and washcloth per person for 5 nights was skimpy. And the quality was thin and scratchy. Even a single box of Kleenex in the house would have been useful. When we arrived it was tidy, but probably vacant for a while, all of the counters had a layer of dust. Overall we would stay there again, but bring our own towel and Kleenex.

Non ADA equipped/Uncomfortable furniture

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Because I’m confined to a wheelchair I was told the home was ADA, which was why we rented it. It wasn’t. In addition, once I finally was able to get into the home, it was 90 degrees inside. My husband had to go into town to get plywood to build me a ramp to get inside on my own. Not a good start to our vacation. We didn’t find the home to be comfortable. A little too modern to be “Sea Ranch” comfortable.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Horizon Reach. It's centrally located from the Lodge and rec-center. The views in and from the home are stunning. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils. Fyi, I called on two seporate occasions to verify that our home had a wood-buring fireplace, and was assured that it did so, but was told to bring kindling. Turns out it has a propane glass enclosed faux fireplace.

Can't Beat the View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Horizon Reach. It was exactly as described and pictured. The three bathrooms all ensuite to a bedroom was a welcomed detail. The kitchen was well equipped - we wanted for nothing and we cooked at the house every day. The proximity to The Sea Ranch lodge/restaurant was a big plus. The pool "room" seemed unattached from the design of the rest of the house, but we had a blast using it in the evenings after watching the sun set from the deck. The deck is amazing - seriously cannot beat the view - we even spotted some whales one evening! In addition to the deck - every room (except the pool room) has a view of the ocean! This was our 6th stay at The Sea Ranch and by far the best house we have experienced.

Every room has a gorgeous ocean view, the furniture is comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. We loved the heated floors and that each bedroom had an attached full bathroom. The location is also great with the bluff trail and beach just out the back door.

December 2018 Stay

The house is lovely, which keeps us coming back to it. This was our third visit. But a couple appliance issues could be better. We had to call for a plumber to deal with the dishwasher, which didn't really work properly when we arrived. It then stopped working at all on the second day. The plumber found it had been clogged by prior tenants with stuff, including diabetic strips! So, perhaps some instructions are in order for proper use. Also, the induction stovetop is VERY temperamental, and difficult to figure out (even having stayed here before a few years ago). So, likewise, some instructions on how to operate it would be very useful. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time and fabulous experience.

Beautiful, well-stocked house with unbeatable views...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 7 nights over xmas and had a splendid time. The kitchen lacks for nothing (which is a nice change from many rental houses) and the huge living/dining room was the perfect gathering place at the end of the day. The quirky nautical/billiards room obliterate that sterility that some vacation homes have, and each room offers a lot of privacy (except the loft above the master, but I assume that's for kids, which we don't have, so it went unused). The wifi was only working in the master bedroom when we arrived and it took four days before the internet provider could come out and fix the problem, and it sure would be nice to have a barbecue (apparently there's a fire-related reason that's not possible), but other than those minor quibbles, we could not have been happier.

Fabulous House with a few flaws

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is definitely the most gorgeous and spacious house I have stayed in in Sea Ranch. However, many of the light bulbs were out, including those in the upper bedroom and on the ceiling above the dining room. The home is quite dim making it impossible to read. The microwave is so low to the ground that it requires you to sit on the floor with a flashlight just to see the controls. The front door is impossible to lock or unlock. A set of instructions for this complex a home would have been very nice. Other than that, everything was perfect. I would rent it again.

We love to cook and stare out at the view. And we love to star gaze from the upper deck. Of course, the walks are fabulous; we spend more time on the trail than indoors! Also thanks to the staff at Beach Rentals for so cheerfully and charmingly handling our arrangements. Much appreciated! Loel, Rob, Jimmy, Colby and Cole and Reggie, the canine therapy dog, who guarded the house from raccoons and found a paper wasp nest in the ground -- ouch! Again, thanks.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently rented the Horizon Reach home for 3 nights for a girls trip and had the BEST weekend imaginable. The home has breathtaking views from nearly every room, is stocked with appliances, tools, extra batteries, linens, beach equipment, games, books and so much more. The home was clean and functional and even with 8 of us still felt spacious. The property management company was friendly and helpful through the whole process as well. We will definitely recommend this home to our friends and family.
