A quiet, modern 2 bedroom appartment in a family house, our accommodation offers you the perfect base to explore the Zillertal. In winter, the Hörbergbahn is just 200m away (ca. 5 minutes walk) and takes you directly onto the Penken ski area. The bus stop to take you on the short journey to Mayrhofen or the train station is 150m away. A cross country ski track is also just a few minutes walk from our house, snow conditions permitting! The nearest restaurant/pizzeria is just 5 minutes walk (also open in summer). In summer, walkers can join the woodland track just behind our house or cross the meadow in front of the house to reach the river and walking/cycling path. The train stations in Mayrhofen and Bichl are just a 20 minute walk away, giving you access to the whole of the Zillertal. Our appartment consists of 2 double bedrooms, both with double beds (single duvets). Another guest can be accommodated in the kitchen/living area, on the comfortable pull-out sofa bed (optimal occupation is 4). The living area also has a dining table with corner bench and chairs, and a flat screen television with satellite and DVD Player, radio/CD/iPod Station, and WLan. The fully-fitted kitchen has everything you need, including oven, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, Krups Dolce Gusto coffee machine (tabs not included), filter coffee machine, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, saucepans, cooking utensils, etc, etc! We even supply tea towels, washing-up liquid, cling film, foil, bin bags, baking paper... The bathroom contains a bath and a shower, and the WC is seperate. We provide towels for our guests (1 per guest and changed midweek) and bedding with covers. In the entrance to the house, you will find the guest cloakroom for your coats and shoes, and, in winter, we provide a ski/snowboard room with heated boot rack. For our guests in summer there is a large furnished terrace with BBQ and a covered furnished decking area. The price includes everything mentioned above, with the exception of the final cleaning and the Tourist Tax. For families with young children, please contact us for details of discounts. We can also provide cots, highchairs, etc, with prior arrangement. Die Vermieter sind supernett. Die große Terrasse (zum Teil überdacht) ist der Hammer, von dort hat man einen einmaligen Blick ins Zillertal. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man ist in wenigen Minuten in Mayrhofen. Gut essen kann man ganz in der Nähe im Gasthaus "Sidan". Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung und bei unseren Gastgebern sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und in einer ruhigen Lage. Auf dem Balkon ist eine gemütliche, überdachte Sitzecke eingerichtet, die auch einen Grill bietet. Der Ausblick auf das Zillertal ist auf Grund der Hanglage sehr schön. Vor der Ferienwohnung besteht ausreichend Platz für das Auto. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist ideal für Ausflugsziele ins Tuxertal, nach Gerlos, zu den Speicherseen und natürlich für einen Spaziergang nach Mayrhofen oder einfach an der Ziller entlang. Eine sehr gute Pizzeria ist ebenfalls in nur wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Mayrhofen direkt, welche ebenfalls schnell mit dem Fahrzeug erreichbar sind. Ein besonderes Highlight war für uns das Tuxertal, welches viele Wandermöglichkeiten insbesondere für Familien mit Kindern bietet. In der Ferienwohnung selber sind auch Informationen zu den Ausflugszielen in der Umgebung ausgelegt. Ganz besonders möchten wir uns bei den Gastgebern bedanken, die sehr nett waren und immer ein offenes Ohr für Wünsche hatten, oder sich einfach mal Zeit für ein nettes Gespräch nahmen. Großzügig, sauber, gepflegt und top ausgestattet! Sie liegt ruhig und trotzdem kommt man jn kurzer Zeit zu Fuß oder per Auto zum Zug, Restaurant oder Einkauf. Super Ferienwohnung, alles vorhanden was man brauch, total gemütlich eingerichtet. Eine Riesen große Terrasse nur für die Urlaubsgaeste & die Vermieter sind auch total sympathisch und bemüht. Mein Freund und ich (17/21) hatten hier unseren ersten gemeinsamen Urlaub verbracht und waren heute früh sehr traurig über die Abreise. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder! :) ##### Johanna S. Die Gastgeber haben sich viel Mühe gegeben. Es wurden sogar jeden Abend Kerzen im Eingang angezündet! We loved this apartment so much that we have just returned from our second ski holiday there (went last year too). Amanda has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable - the apartment is well laid out and cosy (underfloor heating). All mod cons and very close to the Horsberg lift. Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) haben uns sofort in der geräumigen Ferienwohnung wohlgefühlt. Sie war sehr modern und top ausgestattet, sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastfreundlichkeit und der Service waren nicht zu übertreffen. Das Haus liegt am Ortsrand in einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Trotzdem ist die Horbergbahn und damit der Einstieg in das Skigebiet schnell zu erreichen. Für die Sommergäste steht eine riesige Terrasse zur Verfügung! Die Ferienwohnung ist modern & gut ausgestattet. Man kann zu Fuß übers Feld zur Horbergbahn gehen - ca. 4-5 Min. in Skischuhen! Ausstattung ist wie beschrieben! Sep 19, 2012 #### Erstbezug der Ferienwohnung Wir durften diese moderne, sehr schön ausgestattete Ferienwohnung und die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter während unseres 2 -wöchigen Aufenthaltes als deren erste Urlaubsgäste genießen. Wir haben uns in der modernen und komplett ausgestatteten FeWo auf Anhieb wohlgefühlt, und die herzliche Aufnahme seitens unserer überaus sympathischen und sehr bemühten Vermieter tat ein übriges, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlte.
