Calm, spacious, sunny apartment with view at the Alps

In Germany’s sunniest region, between Lake Constance and the Alps, in the Lindenberg area, lies the health resort of Scheidegg at an elevation of 800 m. On the outskirts of town, you’ll find the Rosenalm vacation apartment complex, offering magnificent views of the Alps and surrounded by green meadows—a quiet and charming location just 600 m from the town center. <br>Our apartment is located on the mezzanine level and faces due south, featuring a beautiful balcony and magnificent views of the Austrian and Swiss Alpine peaks. <br>A spacious entryway with a sliding-door closet; a bathroom with a walk-in shower; a small separate kitchen; and a large living/sleeping area are all provided for your comfort. The total size of the apartment is approximately 45 square meters, and a free parking space for your car is available. <br>The beautiful wellness area, featuring an indoor pool, sauna, numerous showers, and a relaxation/rest room, is located very close to our apartment. You can access it from inside the building wearing a bathrobe. Use of the facilities is included in the rental price. <br>The indoor pool, complete with lounge chairs and an infrared relaxation area, measures 20 x 8 meters; the water temperature ranges from 26 to 28 degrees. The spacious sauna area features numerous showers, relaxation rooms, and an outdoor area.<br><br>Tenants must always bring their own linens (sheets and duvet covers, as well as hand towels, dish towels, and bath towels).<br><br>Available for a fee at the facility: beauty treatments, massages, tanning beds, a hair salon, a bowling alley, and use of the washing machine and dryer.<br>In Scheidegg, there are various options for starting your day with breakfast.<br><br>A visit to Lake Constance—for example, to Bregenz for the festival—is a special experience and highly recommended. In addition, there are countless other excursion options and wonderful hiking trails both in Scheidegg and in the nearby mountains and along the beautiful shores of Lake Constance. You’ll find many suggestions and brochures in the apartment. Scheidegg features a natural outdoor swimming pool with a lovely sunbathing lawn; across from the Rosenalm, sports enthusiasts will find both a climbing park and the Scheidegg Golf Park.<br><br>Ski Information:<br>In winter, Scheidegg is blanketed in deep snow, offering all kinds of winter sports activities in crystal-clear air and glistening snow. Whether it’s downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, tobogganing, ice skating, or simply winter hiking, you’ll find everything here. A 20-kilometer cross-country ski trail runs right past the house, and there are plenty of tobogganing opportunities nearby as well.<br><br>Let yourself be enchanted by the indescribably beautiful winter landscape of the Westallgäu and neighboring Vorarlberg. The dream cross-country trails—a paradise for cross-country skiers—begin right outside the house. In cooperation with neighboring communities, there is a 100-km-long, well-maintained network of trails. <br>It’s about a 30-minute drive to Oberstdorf or Kleinwalsertal for the discerning skier. For less experienced skiers, there are plenty of opportunities throughout the area to hone their skills. One more tip: You can check the daily newspapers or the Internet for snow depths and weather conditions in this region.<br><br>Summer Information:<br>In summer, Scheidegg is a beautiful spa and resort town with the most sunny days per year in all of Germany. From Scheidegg, you can plan and enjoy many vacation excursions, as mentioned earlier. Take a trip to Lake Constance followed by a boat ride across the lake, or visit interesting towns or the festival city of Bregenz with its beautiful lake-side stage. It’s worth taking a detour to Switzerland or going on a hike in the Kleinwalsertal valley toward Oberstdorf. The immediate surroundings of Scheidegg also invite you to hike and relax; nearby, there are swimming pools and large alpine pastures or cheese dairies to visit. Enjoy this enchanting region!
