Worth a stay.
Fabulous place. Everything was spot-on. Super friendly, hospitable hosts, lovely room and breakfast. Excellent location a stones throw away from the park, railway and North beach. Very pet-friendly. Tiny tiny gripe about the water pressure - shower was not very powerful.

Concert stay.
Loved our stay.Lovely room.Very clean & tidy.Little extras of wine and chocolates were a nice suprise.Hosts were very welcoming,nothing too much trouble.Good breakfast choices.Close to open air theatre as we were there for a concert.

Our room is very spacious and clean. Bathroom is beautiful. I like the big bathtub. Welcome treats and free fresh fruits are fantastic. All staff are very kind and professional.

We chose this hotel as it had a good review on line but when we got to our room I was disappointed that there was faecal residue inside the toilet bowl and I don't think they have dusted the room properly inside the drawers. I had to dust off before we put our things inside the drawers. Otherwise after that it was pleasant stay. The parking is very limited and we had to park on the road but it was free and safe.

Best for service
I have stayed in hundreds of hotels - surprisingly, this little hotel exceeds them all in service. The kind of service where you feel like you are invited to stay with friends. At the same time the hotel runs very efficiently. For example, fast breakfast service even when pretty much everyone walked into breakfast at the same time. I have never met a hotel team that love their job as much as this lot. We also loved the food (muffins, chocolates etc) left in the room and the personal touches to everything. All else in this hotel is very good but not off-the-scale-perfect: The room is very clean, the beds comfortable and the shower has plenty of water and a consistent temperature (the big three for me), but many other hotels are just as good. The parking on site is not perfect (cars blocked in), but we stayed there on a weekend when Scarborough was full and there was plenty of on-street parking which was free, so that is a better option. All in all a great stay. We had a view of the castle and we walked across the beach and up there. Note that the north beach, which is close to this hotel, is the quiet one, more of a family beach. Sea Life, the aquapark are close by. The beach on the other side of the castle is busier, rowdier, with garish casinos right behind the beach (but also good fish and chip shops). Each to their own, so if you like that kind of place, it is not far to walk and there is a bus too.

Really happy with the hotel, owners were great really friendly the hotel was spotless the little extras in the room the sweets, muffins and little bottles of wine we’re really thoughtful great touches breakfast was very good and just the right size would highly recommend this hotel

Lovely hotel not far from the outdoor theatre and beach,when we stayed there was no bar but there is a marstons pub 5 minutes walk away so it wasn’t a problem for us.

I won't say it's a hotel , but a very good bed and breakfast. It's quite expensive for a B&B though. It will be good if they issue us a parking pass for the town automatically. We didn't know what to do when parking around town, but found out we should have a special parking pass from our hotel. (Of course no pay machine around cause free with a pass)

The hotel is in a residential area but is very close to the open air theatre. We chose it as it was relatively cheaper than those in the centre of town. The hosts were very nice and accommodating and were very helpful. We arrived later than the check in time however they were kind enough to wait for us.

Walking distance to Scarborough Open Air Theatre
Stayed here to attend an event at Scarborough Open Air Theatre & it was an easy 5 minute walk. B&B clean, although no lift - we were on 2nd floor so plenty of stairs. Room was lovely with nice touches, tea/coffee, biscuits, muffins. Bathroom was good with cotton balls & Q-Tips (nice touch). Plenty of books to read on the landings. didn't use the large lounge.

Great Hotel

Cleanest hotel Iv'e stayed at.
This hotel was the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Well and tastefully decorated too. The staff were excellent friendly, professional and helpful. My wife said the home made yogurt was the best she's ever had. We'll be going back there without doubt.

I arrived and was met by the friendliest of smiles and greeting. Was made to feel very welcome and the centre of attention. LEd to my room with little fuss and found it very clean, roomy, light and well laid out. I was soon in a robe having a cup of tea and getting ready for a bit of a relax before dinner. However thsi quickly changed with news from home of my 5 yr old son breaking his arm and going into surgery. 10 minutes later I am checking out with no fuss and a good luck and hope all is well from Julie. I wish I had been able to stay longer and will ensure that once I return to the same area, will book again and enjoy Julie's compnay again. So sorry to leave so soon - 10 minuts must be a record.

Celebrating our 45th anniversary as we like Scarborough and the various villages both in from the North via the coastal route (Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby, Sandsend,etc) and the return via the inland route (Pickering, Helmsley, Thirsk, Northallerton, etc)
