There was also toiletries in the bathroom although we used our own. The bar itself was great, lovely choice of drinks and food. Great band were playing on the Saturday night, great friendly atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was first class, lots of choice and well cooked. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, thanks to all the staff for their hospitality. Breakfast, which we pre-ordered was freshly cooked and plentiful. The Open Air Theatre was a 15-20 minute walk away. Really comfy place. Room was spot on. When the gentleman showed me the room. He noticed a mark on the duvet. (It was nothing really). It looked like they’d maybe rested the vacuum on the bed & it had left a bit of dirt. The gentleman changed the duvet cover there & then. I ordered my breakfast & unfortunately I slept in. When I left I apologised & they couldn’t have been nicer about it. Big room with huge bed and everything you need. Ideal for our overnight stay in Scarborough.
