"We stayed at Tokatoka 2 nights, one before flying to Samoa, and one after coming back. Hotel is a short walk from the airport, they also offer a free shuttle to and from the airport. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy. It is not a new hotel, but nicely maintained. The pool area, the restaurant and the newly open coffee shop are quite nice. Staff is amazing! We had to change the room during our first night and the did it with no issues. I highly recommend it if you need a night right after or just before flying. The surroundings are just not for spending more time over there."

"**Wonderful people and true Fiji atmosphere — with a few quirks** We spent a week at Serenity Island Resort with friends and had a great time overall. The biggest plus is the staff — genuinely kind people who always try to help with everything they can. You do feel "Fiji time" everywhere though :) A few minuses: the bar constantly runs low on alcoholic drinks and the selection is limited; the menu is quite small too — though for a resort of this size that's understandable. One thing that surprised us: some food is very often served cold. Maybe that's normal here, but it took us some getting used to. That said, the ocean, the nature, the reefs and the whole Fiji atmosphere smooth out all of these issues — you just relax and enjoy life and your vacation."

Although there was some loud entertainment from a wedding reception during our stay, we completely understood that it was a special occasion. "The resort has a lot of privacy but lacking accessibility to other areas. Nearest area to buy amenities are a bit far. Other than that, the scenery was ok. It’s ideal for leisure and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very helpful, Joshua, Tomasi, Simon and Emely were all very attentive to our needs. Joshua went out of his way to find outlet adapter to accommodate. our 110 voltage. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."
