Weekend visit to Savonlinna

Visited Olavinlinna Castle on the weekend of the Christmas Market. Family Hotel Hospitz was recommended to me by a work colleague and I am glad I took her suggestion to stay there. Traditional, classic old hotel with small rooms, bathrooms fitted in to whatever space available, and lovely views. Owners friendly, helpful, and polite. Wonderful breakfast more than ample to fill you up for your morning walking and touring around the town.

1933 rakennettu ja sen hengen mukainen ihastuttava perhehotelli. Kodikas ja rauhallinen, ihana palvelu ja loistava aamiainen.

Mukava hotelli, olemme käyttäneet sitä aiemminkin, vaikkakaan huone ei kovin viihtyisä. E ainuttkaan lukuvaloa (3-hengen huone). Huoneessa tosi kuuma, valtavat tyynyt (ei hyvä). Ystävällinen henkilökunta. WiFi ei toiminut.

Todella tunnelmallinen hotelli kaupungin parhaimmalla paikalla. Aivan vierasvenelaiturin vieressä. Mahtava terassi ja monipuolinen aamiainen, pienen hotellin kotoisaa tunnelmaa.

Pieni perhehotelli jossa palvelu toimii kuin ajatus. Upea aamiainen! Minun makuuni huone hieman hämärä, eikä näillä silmillä lukeminen romanttisen seinävalaisimen valossa onnistu..... Palaan varmasti tähän hotelliin!

Kodikas hotelli lähellä Olavinlinnaa

Pieni, mutta todella kodinomainen hotelli Savonlinnan keskustassa. Hotellilla on ilmainen parkkipaikka asiakkailleen. Omistaja toivotti heti aulassa henkilökohtaisesti tervetulleeksi. Olimme ensimmäistä kertaa Savonlinnassa. Omistaja kertoi lähialueen nähtävyyksistä. Aamulla oli tarjolla runsas aamiaisbuffet upealla näköalalla järvelle.

Noin 8 arvoinen majoituskohde.

Lyhyt liikematka kollegan kanssa. Hotelli palveli hyvin sitä tarkoitusta. Palvelu oli hyvää ja henkilökohtaista. Oluen ystävänä olisin kaivannut hieman monipuolisempaa valokoimaa. Aamiainen on mainio.

A cosy hotel with good breakfast & comfy bed

A cosy hotel, with delicious breakfast and very comfortable bed. The staff was helpful and kind. The castle is a short walk away. I'd definitely stay there again.

Nice, very comfortable small hotel

Very nice, small hotel in the middle of Savonlinna, within walking distance of everything. Staff is very helpful, room nice and large, and breakfast was also very good. I would stay again if I am in town, especially summertime.
