Southernbell Vacation Rentals provided me with text messages and confirmation, along with emails containing maps and directions. They were very thorough with their communication and provided lots of detail covering everything I needed to know to get into the unit.They were swift to respond and it was almost as if they had 24/7 support. On the day of check-in, they contacted me to make sure I checked in and if I was having any issues, then followed up again in the middle of my trip and at the end of my trip. The service was second to none compared to other hosts.The entry to the building was very easy using a keypad as well as the unit. On the day we arrived, the elevator was under repair and not usable, but the unit was up one very wide flight of steps and was not a big deal.Entering the unit, we found a very beautiful space. We were greeted by a very large modern kitchen that had modern appliances and seemed to be fully stocked. The kitchen was very clean and well-organized, and the washers and dryers worked exceptionally well and were very clean.The living room and dining room had a very cozy feel with nice warm tones, tall ceilings, artwork, and incredible downtown views from the large windows. On the living room coffee table was a nice guide the host put together in a giant binder with all the locations to eat, along with menus, maps, directions, notes, and details. It sounded like every stereo thumping race car revving loud motorcycle in Savannah was racing up and down the street all night. The one problem is all the construction that was not conveyed to us upon booking this property. Because of the construction there was no place to stop and unload/load our two vehicles. The check in process was amazingly simple and the apartment was exceptionally clean. I wished they could have left a broom or small vacuum for us to use as we visit the beach on Tybee Island and brought home a bunch of sand on our shoes with no way to clean up. The amenities in the apartment were fair. The internet never worked, and the TV would only change channels in one room. The directions that were left for the parking of one car in the parking garage were not clear and very confusing. The location of the parking garage was excellent. I also think that this should be listed as sleeping only 5 adults and not six. There are two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, but the couch does not pull out so only one person would fit on the couch. The water in the kitchen sink was less than a dribble and when I was contact about any issues I respond with that and there was no reply. ##### Joline D. Quick walk to city market and the river. Great for those who want to explore Savannah on foot. The main door to the building is kinda finicky but once you figure it out it’s fine. It’s in the city so a little city noise is to be expected, but it wasn’t bad at all. Apartment was very nice and clean and location felt very safe. It looks recently updated but still has historical charm too. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it had all the basics plus some. Only complaint- The water pressure in the shower is horrible (took FOREVER to wash and rinse long hair) but everything else was so great that we would definitely stay again. Big windows are great for people watching on the streets below. The inclusion of the parking spot in the garage was great! I highly recommend this apartment! ##### Amy S. You have to pay to park from 8am. to 8pm. Most of that time the street parking is full so it can be hard to find a parking spot. It is also a short drive to Tybee Island which is beautiful just like Savannah. We all had so much fun that we didn't want to leave. It was like home away from home.
