"Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"The property is located in rural setting, lots of farming around the area. The location suited ourselves as we found it didn't prevent us from exploring nearby attractions. "This house has an excellent location in Montsoreau and has very nice views of the Loire river from the upper floors. It's perfect for exploring the area West of Tours around Saumur and is easily accessible to Angers as well as chateaus such as Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau. "The property was lovely and really well equipped. Beautiful large rooms and living areas. Great games room. Plenty of outside space . Unfortunately the patio area is open nd shared with 3 properties. This meant there is no enclosed place for pets and not suitable. We had a barricade a safe area for our dogs and could not leave then unless inside which was very hot with the doors closed. The pool was also not clean on arrival, or cleaned during our stay. "1st - 30th October La Motte is the perfect place to relax and unwind. There is no trafice passing and no light polution, when the stars come out they shine. There is a lot of interesting places and a lovely pa rk in Richelieu for walks. Our host Lydie certainly knows how to make you welcome and is there if you need anything. There are lots of leaflets and books to help you get started and we were sad to leave at the end of October. Definately worth a visit thank you Lydie."

"a nice apartment with long list of instructions. It looks like you work for the owners in cleaning and arranging although you pay a good price for cleaning. In addition the garden isn't kept and you can't use the outside. The apartment isn't on the river although there is a very nice picture that make you think it's."

"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "
