Finally the owner helped sort out a problem with a ferry reservation, something that was really stressing me. He was absolutely brilliant and the problem just evaporated away.... Thank you."

"Overall it was a great stay but we were disappointed when our room got downgraded because of a wedding. The staff offered us a late check out and a small amount of spa credits but we really wanted to room we paid for originally. Overall they did the best they could to accommodate but best you confirm with them ahead if you book a room on the water"

"The staff was very kind, professional, friendly, and accommodating. Right out of a Tuscan rom-com, the hotel has a beautiful entry and garden and is in a gorgeous Tuscan setting. Ask for the room with the patio. It was great for morning coffee. The town of Castel del Piano was lively with locals in the piazza and shop keepers sweeping to make clean and welcoming store fronts."
